I do concentrate on running - but being a woman I can multitask so I get to perv at the same time - runners are fit :D

I cant multitask, but I can still manage to do those 2 things simultaneously!:p :p

That's good news, Sally, about averaging 20 miles per week because I was a little concerned for you in terms of how the increased mileage would affect your legs.I keep a log against the training plans when runs are posted to get a rough idea how things are going and I only had 83 miles logged over 11 weeks so was a bit concerned that you might have increased too quickly. You've obviously done runs that I've missed somewhere along the way.Glad you're enjoying it anyway and handling the increase pretty well!

Don't always get a chance to post Rich but had done just over 250 miles up to christmas and then was a bit slack! All guns blazing now though and im sure the legs will realise that there's no going back now :rotfl:

Becky thanks for the invite to the running party, I hope I might be able to pop in but as I will have the family in tow and my brothers in laws too im not sure they will all want to come along. Will also have to get home and back to work on the monday  Will see how things pan out nearer the time

8 steady miles done - 10:40 a mile which seems to be my norm at the mo for easy long runs, so pleased with that.

Not so pleased with the revenge of the killer blister that is going on..........only one foot this time, but pretty nasty. I will work out how to upload pics so you can see that I am not just a big girl's blouse!!

But 8 miles, anyway - that'll do nicely.......19 miles so far this week :D

  • Well done Hypno.

The slower the better for the easy runs so that is just fine.

These blisters are being persistent little sods arent they?

Oh No Hypno...what is it that is causing the blisters? Trainers or socks??

    and this is today's effort

Ignore the "ordinary" blister by the big toe - that is just dead hard skin which doesn't give any grief.......
