    Evening All :D

So I set off on my 10 mile run - had very stiff shins for about 4 miles and I was constantly having to avoid pedestrians this evening...so every time I moved felt like a huge effort.

Anyway so that then got replaced by a desperate need for the loo (not the paula kind)...so I had to sprint the rest of the way home to make 6 miles, but I still in the mood for some more running so nipped out to the garden and did 8 laps which is 2 miles - so all in all despite the funniness I did 8 miles :D I would have done more but was suddenly desperately hungry ;)

My interview for the charity went well I think - and I got a free lunch mmmm free food :D

And well done on your run - still 8 miles so not to be sneezed at!

No indeed not - it was just amusing - I always go before a run but its not like you can stop anywhere in London and go for a pee ;)

So are you planning on nipping in home part way through FLM for a quick pit stop then? :p:p

Still a good 8 miles anyway.

So what did they ask you about over lunch then?

I run round dark country lanes and still wouldn't stop for a pee - might get eaten by bears or something :o

Yeah not sure about that one...hmmm no coffee for me before FLM I think :D

They asked me about my inspiration for running, training schedule, how I got started and my fundraising efforts basically - they were really nice so it all kind flowed (i.e. in my usual style I talked non stop and they interjected now and again with questions ;))

    HAHAHA to Hypno :D

I did but I suspect they wont use it - they were more interested in my mum because her disability is related to the charity (sort of anyway) and their research and the newsletter is being dropped on mothering sunday so they are looking at a human interest angle from that which is fair enough :D

  • Oooooo how annoying. I dropped in to say hello and update on my running this week - typed a long post and deleted it!!!!

    Anyway in summary:

Sunday 45 mins at Level 6 on treadmill
Monday Rest/walk and bought myself a Nike+ as realised my trainers were compatible
Tuesday 45 mins at Level 6.5 on treadmill (also playing with new gadget)
Wednesday 30 minute brisk walk on treadmill
    Thursday 45 mins at Level 6 on treadmill - 6.64k (5k time was 34.49)

Have decided that next week is the week I run outside  I have a week off work so can get out and about during daylight hours. Of course, now I have posted it here I will HAVE to do it!!!! :D

Sorry for long post, I will try and pop in more often.
