I'm doing ACCA and Scorgeous is doing CIMA...Scorgeybabe might have a wait on her hands, I still have eight more exams to do....(six if I pass these two in June:eek:)

Good luck Sammy & Scorgeous. I'm CIMA. It's tough but well worth it, so don't be disheartened. I remember the studying so well....that little voice whispering "you should be revising" in your ear whenever you are doing something else. Best of luck to you both.

My muscles don’t feel any different no sore legs so it says I could have done more just my lungs were not up to it!!

Hopefully get another run in tonight so might try for the full 2 miles!!

You'll probably still bloody qualify before me. Anyway, how about you come do the Walt Disney world marathon in Florida in 2011? We'll both be closer to qualifying by then :D

    afternoon to you all...
if you go away for a few days there is lots to read isnt there!

i was in the new forest for 4 days. it was the first time i have been really and it was fantastic.

the best was finding a cycle circular route. mrs mascott was on her bike and i ran behind. she would map read and potter about. it didnt really work out like that as mrs m. found the hills a bit tough and didnt really know where she was going so i ended up waiting for her a lot of the time!!

i did the route again on my own and despite going the wrong way (by over 1 mile) i beat my time by 10 mins...

but it wasnt really about that....it was the joy of running out of london on some of the most beautiful trails i have been on. i left the ipod behind and just listened to unseen creatures rustling about.

hope to go out in an hour or so. (10k)

    rich.....
could you add me into the kent costal half marathon 6th sept

    my first event .......

    thanks...m

Ooo I love the New Forest Mascott - sounds like a nice trip - glad you got osme running in as well and well done on knocking some time off too :D

I love running though (think I'm the only one ;)) because there's sooo much to see - Hyde Park is especially good in the early mornings :D

    hi becky
yeah i normally run around the southbank and battersea park and they are great. as you say there is always something to watch. it was great to run off road in a different environment.
i really was a great way to get to see a tiny bit of the forest. there were so many people around all heading to the villages and pubs in their cars but the trails were almost deserted. we are already hoping to go back soon.
next break is 10 days in north cornwall next month. hoping for some cliff running!!

Mascott - I probably see you then - I run in both of those A LOT (as does OH when he's in London :))...

I particularly like Battersea because its all sorts of runners and walkers - if you go at dusk you get all the beginners which is really nice to see people giving it a go to get fit (and the parrots are cool too :D)

    Wow cliff running = scary!
