I dont understand how they say it can be the 2012 course - that has to finish in the stadium in stratford and its over 20 miles from there to stratford so they might be able to run down embankment on the way but thats it - stupid marketing!!!

Ah okay so I live at the start then not the finish - well thats mucho better as there wont be too many crowds then so I should still be able to get somewhere if I need to go that side of London (but tbh I try to avoid parliment sq on weekends and bank holidays - the tourists annoy me ;))

Oh drat - just checked the site - it starts and finishes there = very serious boo time :(

That's not good for you, although that's good for me because as you look out your window I'll be the one lying face down on the concrete, so if you could just pick me up and point me in the direction of the train, that'd be great :rotfl:

Actually its a bit rubbish for you because you'll have to walk back to Victoria from there as well (its only a mile but ;)) to get to St Pancras...but it should give you time to ease out any aches at least :D

It's ok, St Johns ambulance peeps will be pushing me in a wheelchair by then :D Apparently the assembly area where you get your medal and goody bag is Green park should I should be able to get a tube back hopefully? Do you know what line Green park is on? I know that I have to get onto the dark blue one to get off at St Pancras. Sorry I don't come into London as often as I should do, so not very good with the underground

Green park does run on the picadilly line but you can also grab the Victoria line through there two (both run to Kings Cross then its a 5 minute walk to St Pancras) - be prepared though it may be busy and you may get held in the tunnels to the platforms - so make sure you have enough water with you (I've been stuck there for 45 minutes before!) :D
