I think you can bet if you are going to beat your pb...dont really use fetch except for the wava grading tbh...

Must remember to stay away from Buck Palace/St James Park on Monday as the roads are closed all day - ALL day for a 10k race :eek:

    Thanks Becky

Yeah I'm doing that one on Monday. I'm not ready for it though. I forgot I had entered it way back in January, then the postman came the other day with my race pack  You could come and pick me off the ground if you want , might need it by the end of it :)

They probably closed the road all day cos they've realised that I'm doing it and it'll probably take me that long

A friend is doing it also - its a HUGE race, should be quite interesting at the front end (I wonder if Paula is entering ), its going to be warm so dont forget the sunscreen :D

I live a mile from the finish but will have to avoid the whole area as you cant cross from Victoria I dont think (unless they put a bridge in...)

Sunscreen, I'll be lucky if I remember to take myself :D

I will need to get the train from Bedford about 7ish I think. I sooo do not do mornings, and I get really nervous for some reason just before the start. I think I get scared that I wont finish the distance and then look a real eejit, alhtough I've just put a bet on myself on fetcheveryone to beat my only previous time of 1.16.10, so I hope I do it.

It says it starts on Birdcage walk facing parliament square. Now that takes me way back to the days when I was in the RAF and had to do the Remembrance Parades

Ah okay so I live at the start then not the finish - well thats mucho better as there wont be too many crowds then so I should still be able to get somewhere if I need to go that side of London (but tbh I try to avoid parliment sq on weekends and bank holidays - the tourists annoy me ;))

Oh drat - just checked the site - it starts and finishes there = very serious boo time :(
