Oh and I have been very bad and booked a ski holiday for mid april.........so, urm, no long runs that week....it is two weeks before FLM so I might just be starting my tapering then.....:o

    In my defence, coach,

    1) I ski hard and fast, and for as many hours as I can fit in the day, so fitness wise I do quite a lot.....

    2) The apartment is opposite the sports centre so I could always go on the treadmill for an hour or so if needed

    3) urm, no third defence offered m'lud

The only really awful thing is that I will be travelling back overnight on the Saturday night and the bungay half marathon is on the Sunday, so probably won't risk trying to run it. BUT, I will be doing my Dad's 10k on the morning that we go, so won't be missing out on that one.....and the half marathon doesn't form an integral part of my training....it was a "want" not a "need".

Dont worry Hypno - go and enjoy your holiday - I'm sure Rich will say the same! :D

And I did check out that marathon running is covered on my holiday insurance, so if I break anything while I am there, I can get my accomodation etc refunded for FLM!

Not that I will break anything, of course, except the world record for eating the most waffles in a week.....

    Waffles mmmmm

Good news about the insurance - oh I meant to say the regulars who are doing FLM - I'm doing drinks at my gated garden afterwards - since I only live round the corner from the finish it made sense because all of the pubs will be full - I can PM details/organise it nearer the time :D

If we get hungry there's also a BBQ in the garden - so someone not running can cook! :D

Well it will take my mother a while to walk there anyway (shes disabled) and I'll have to get everything set-up - it is weather dependant of course...if it chucks it down no chance of getting any drinks in, but here's some piccies of the garden:
