Wow!! I am seriously impressed with that Chickadee!!! Well done.

Was hot on my race too...Crowle 10k. I swallowed a fly, got a fly in my eye and also got a stitch for the first time ever (i think it was the jaffa cake I had before I started!) And I couldn't figure out how to change my music on ipod and had to suffer S Club Sevens greatest hits for most of the way round.

Finished in 1.04.21 (I think - will have to wait for official timings cos there was no clock at the finish) which is 3 whole minutes off the last one. Run chum was sub 60 mins and I was jealous. But it was a great run!

It was rather hot for the first 10 miles of the run but cooled off a bit (thankfully) in the second half.

The route was 8 laps of Battersea Park plus there and back so was a nice flat course which makes a pleasant change for once!:D:D

    PS What's wrong with S Club 7?

PPS Becky would just like to say that she is not ignoring the thread but she is not really feeling very well at the moment. The NHS have sort of diagnosed exhaustion as the problem, it certainly isnt any disease of the piggy variety, so a bit of rest and she'll be back to annoy everyone again!;)

Very well done Chick. Conditions were pretty warm by the sounds so must have been pretty demanding.:D:D

Thank everyone. It was a tough one today. Really warm, must have been mid-20's. Very humid. I was cruising along until about 15-16 miles, then had a wobble between 17 and 18. Then it was a real struggle all the way. I'm sure it was all down to the conditions, and 30% cobbles doesn't help!

The published results are the gun times, but our chip times are 4:36.27 (me) and 3:42.05 (OH).

Thanks again for all your congratulations. I have a lovely t-shirt and a nice heavy medal. I'll post a pic of it when I get home.
