Her racing trainers are made specifically for her by Nike Becky, but she uses different ones for training.

Ahh I see - well if you run 120 miles a week you probably do need new ones every few weeks (Becky sobs into hands at the though of that much running) - I only bought my last pair a few months ago and I need some news ones already, and my insoles are getting thin again - doh!

    Rich...... :D

The difference is that she doesn't need them when she gets a new pair - the shoes are still fine for many more miles.

But she just uses the first 3-400 miles worth because she can ... and the cost to the sponsor is miniscule, probably £10 per pair, so why not!

What mileage are you doing per week at the moment Rich??

I think my last trainers did around 700 miles I guess, then when I got knee problems I bought new ones and I did notice the difference :)
