Glad you are fully recovered - I am still tired more than anything, but walking up and down stairs is no longer going to provide my colleagues with the entertainment that it has done for the past couple of days!
I won't get chance to run today or tomorrow, so I am going to have to wait until Friday before I get my trainers on, and then my true test will be on Sunday afternoon for the RFL.
good luck tonight sally and take it easy!
chick - if you are about - are you getting excited about your marathon now?Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

It is quite strange - I have more jitters about running the 5k on Sunday than I had before the marathon last week!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hypno - you'll be fine to run the 5K on Sunday.
If you're like me, you'll just be a little off being fully recovered but you'll feel really strong.:DGt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

I know exactly what you mean...I was so calm and no nerves at all on Sunday but before I did those long 20 milers I was so nervous!

Morning all. Another non-stretcher here! I think a gentle warm-up is the most important bit. The people that do believe in stretching seem to advise different stretches for before and after the run. Makes sense really, as they serve different purposes.Running Club targets 20105KM - 21:00 21:55 (59.19%)10KM - 44:00 --:-- (0%)Half-Marathon - 1:45:00 HIT! 1:43:08 (57.84%)Marathon - 3:45:00 --:-- (0%)0

Sally,
They're still identifying them, but there is one of you - very similar to your avi actually.
Theres this one of Becky:
This must be well into the race considering how thinned out the runners are - I suspect it is towards the end of the Isle of Dogs loop. I saw her at 18 miles and 23 miles and this looks to be somewhere in between .... looking pretty good for that stage of a marathon.:D:DGt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j
