Thats a lot of registrations for the ballot.:D:D
With around a 1:7 chance that should mean that, on average, at least one person from here will get a place through the ballot.
Bequeathing the fee for the extra places gives an approx 1:50 chance.
Oh and I've registered as well - on the basis that you could withdraw the registration, if circumstances dictate, before the entry fee becomes payable in October.
Beer Tins - your photos are now up for the parkrun if you havent already seen them.

Thanks Rich. Yes, I've seen the pics. On the second one of me I look like I've got my tongue hanging out from looking at the woman ahead of me's backside. Nice! Just realised I'll be in Ireland this Saturday and Spain the next 2 Saturdays, so I'll miss all those runs. I'll pack my running shoes of course!
Today was scheduled to be my first ever interval session prescribed by Dr. RichOneday. In short, it didn't happen. :rotfl: The park at the bottom of my road was locked, I hate the way they are so inconsistent in the times they open it, it changes from day to day. As it's a) the only flat area around and b) got a nice little lake it's easy to measure 800m around, it would have been ideal. Instead I did a very hilly run on the roads, which should help strengthen the legs. Will substitute tomorrow's easy 4 miler with intervals if they actually have the park open at 06:15. Am struggling to build up to the required 40-42 mile weekly distance at the moment, but I'll get there!Running Club targets 20105KM - 21:00 21:55 (59.19%)10KM - 44:00 --:-- (0%)Half-Marathon - 1:45:00 HIT! 1:43:08 (57.84%)Marathon - 3:45:00 --:-- (0%)0 -

No, not Good For Age. I would have needed a 3-15, which I missed by 9 minutes 3 weeks ago. The cut off date for getting another 3-15 done is August 21st, so Abingdon will miss the deadline.
Instead of trying to squeeze another marathon in without being as prepared as I would like, I'm going to have a real crack at getting a Championship place instead.
This means getting a sub 2:45 marathon time before 31st December or a sub 1:15 half marathon time by the same date.
Failing that theres always 2011!:D:DGt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j
