Entries for the 2010 race open on Monday, rachel.......get your entry in early!!

Seriously, anyone who wants to do the London Marathon should enter - the chances of getting in through the ballot are fairly slim, so keep entering each year, and eventually you will get a place. If you wait until the year you "feel ready" to do it, you may either never "feel ready", or may well be disappointed that you can't get a place.

Its very pleasant running in the evenings when the weather is like this, but those pesky little bugs certainly are a nuisance - I think I ate so many that I dont need any dinner.:p:p

  • Evening all, iv not done anything today, had the physio try and sort out my knees. They always feel a little bit funny after they get played with.

But on a positive note my OH got to the gym for a run on the treadmill, shes says shes not confident enough to run outside yet but is happy to go to the gym and run. I keep telling her shes doing well and should post on here but she keeps saying shes too slow and youll all laugh at her. I know that you wouldnt.

Her times are 5km in 37mins, on saturday this was 52mins for her. Iv told her thats really good especially for someone thats not been in a gym for over 6 years. Shell be reading this in a bit ( she always reads my posts!!!!)

Well Done rich thats some nice speed work and some super quick miles.

jj 5km in 37 minutes is good going. I can only manage a third of a mile so she's way better than me. Nobody has laughed at me, just offered support. So tell your wife she's more than welcome.
