So you did 4 sets of 5 x 400m?? Do you stop between each 400m or just between each set?
Good running by the way
Saw them putting the barriers out for Sunday today and the demonstrators look to have been mostly cleared0 -
Morning all runners.
I only manged 3 miles yesterday, just didnt have the energy to push the legs any further. They still feel a bit wobbly and unstable but im not surprised as its the first time iv done 11 miles in 2 days.
But going for another 3 miles at least this morning, complusry exercise so cannot complain doing it in works time.
Rich can you add me another 1/2 marathon on please 8th august Newark. CheersRunning Club5KM - 25:20(51.21%) 10KM - 53:40(50.26%)1/2 Marathon - 2.14.57(44.20%)Marathon 5:11:00 (40.78%)0 -

Yep, 4 sets of 5 x 400m. 1 minute rest between reps and 3 mins rest between sets.
Its pretty much even effort even though each set is significantly faster than the last due to the muscles getting warmer.:D
JJ - I've added Newark to the list. Just remember that it is tired legs that mean you're improving, enjoy the feeling. As you progress you'll have to work harder and harder to get those tired legs!
PS Beer Tins - You'll need to register online at Parkrun.com before Saturday for the Wimbledon 5K.Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

4 Days 22 Hours 52 Minutes 2 Seconds
Its getting close now - not long to wait for that canon to blast off and start the race.
Still haven't a clue who the starter is this year - it tends to be a closely held secret until the day, but usually its someone very topical.
However, I'm still plumping for Tony Blair - he likes starting races!:D
Any better ideas?Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Were you still talking about running here, Rich?
