What sort of runners start from the green start, that would be a nice one only having 3000 runners in there. Blue is going to be a nightmare with over 32,000 people :eek:...that can't be right can it?

Red is charity and also good for age places
Blue is elite and ballot
Green is celebs and the odd others (depends on the mix - sometimes vets good for age is in here too)

There wont be 32,000 either - the drop out rate pre start is about 10%, plus the elites and championship will have gone off at 9 - its likely your start will be smaller than mine and Hypnos...

Do you know how to get to blackheath station from where you are staying??

Hypno - I'm getting off at Island Gardens and walking through the tunnel under the thames as is easier so if you want to do that as well let me know and I can meet you on the day

Must get organised...in fact I can't even remember what hotel we are staying in as I booked it back in November

Well I'm pretty sure Blackheath isnt a dlr station - so you'll have to plan how to navigate the overground - I think its usually free though for you (though no any family members) - this site might help:

Also if you're going to be in London all weekend you might want to invest in oyster cards -£3 each but every journey is then from £1.60 instead of from £4.40odd - you can return them when you leave and get your £3 back too
