Hi everyone. Hope all are well :j

My last run was Wednesday lunchtime and I'd planned to do hills with the club last night but family stuff intervened  . Will have to run tonight through Sunday, varying the mileage but am looking forward to ticking them off my training programme :j

I think my hayfever allergy summat has started too. Sneezing in the mornings something chronic, so have now started dosing up the night before, so am sneeze-free in the mornings. Seems to work, at the moment anyway :D

I'll report back tonight once I've done my run.

Becks sorry to hear that, do you have any idea how long you could be out of action for?

Ok, time for a confession, prepared for my run which involves the usual visit to the toilet for a number 1 and 2......

Off I run, after four miles I have a mid run explosion.....If you know what I mean........

I had to stop and come home, running with a soggy behind is not what I call fun!!!!

Hi Rusty, my commiserations even though I had to laugh. Sorry! If your explosion was liquid only I wouldn't worry about it unless you were wearing light-coloured bottoms :o . I no longer worry about the wet, but I do try to ensure I've not drunk any liquids a few hours beforehand and only wet my throat 2 mins before stepping out the door. Using that as a rule, I'm ok for the first hour, after that anything's possible and I need to find the nearest toilet :rotfl:

shhhhhh I went for a run shhhhh

Only a mile though, but I am bored of waiting for the docs to book me in and I couldnt face the MUI tonight (lots of sick people - I hate hospitals) so I'm just going to risk it - build up slowly this weekend and see what happens :D

Leg hurts a little but my article went on justgiving today re: my mum and it made me sad that I might not be able to London since she'll never be able to run so I thought I'd just give it a go and see what happens - I really want to do it for her :D

    (its her birthday today too!)

    Thank you :)

I started in Jan, and 2km was killing me, so this was a bit of a milestone for me.

Not only am I a DFW, but a FFW (fat free wannabe) too lol

Ha, ha Becky I hate hospitals and Dr's surgeries because they're always full of sick people - glad I'm not the only one. (I won't tell either - hope you enjoyed it)

I wasn't sure whether to run tonight or not as I've been a bit sniffly and my throat's been a bit dry/sore today but I'm on a rest day tomorrow so decided to give it a go.

    4 miles - 42:08 (10:21/mile) and no ill effects - so I'm happy!!
