Cheers Simply! thats would be good for me......do you have a training plan? or do you have a link to one...i just looked at the Abingdon one and it was only for fourteen weeks:eek: .

Oh great - I've got a running buddy, whoo hoo!!!! :j

I've got a plan that Becky very kindly put together for me and I've just completed week 1 - told you I was a newbie didn't I?

Becky - given that Sammy is running about the same time/distance as me do you think that it would be ok follow the same plan or would it need amending?

Doh, thinking about it a bit more it would depend on how many days a week Sammy wanted to train wouldn't it?

It would indeed and also rough target time - Simply's is pegged to around 4 hours - 4:30 - but you can send it over if you like and Sammy can see if she fancies it or not :D

    That's great Becky, thanks!! :A

Sammy - my plan is based on training 5 days a week. If you pm me your email address I'll send you the plan and you can see what you think.

Heeeee I keep sneaking you in on the hope you might give up Athens :D:D:D:D (and do a sensible one instead :p)

:rotfl: . but you forget one thing.

and i quote from Athens marathon website

    "3. MASSAGE

Massage will be offered to all the runners that wish so or are need of. A large number of masseurs will offer their services to the runners at the court yard of the Panathinaikon Stadium, after the runners have received their clothing."

Now im sure the females of Oxfordshire are ok.... but come on. :T . ;)

Uk - unless I'm badly mistaken a 'masseur' is male. So I think I definitely prefer the girls of Oxfordshire!:p :p;)
