Thanks Hypno - I'm going to try and break it next week (24:38 to beat ran 24:40 today
) - ah but I ran a 5k so plenty left in the legs - I dont sprint like that after 16 miles either - as you know from the pics of my half marathon

Hi everyone,
Not been on for a few days as I've been having a busy week (is there any other kind?) Went to see my gorgeouse neice on Wednesday evening and got stuck in traffic in the centre of Liverpool, but managed to get half an hour with SIL and neice before we got thrown out. Then had a work event on Thurs and another on Friday night.
Anyway, I had a little 4-miler on Wednesday morning, then my ladies running group on Thurs (9m-ish) followed by 15.5m this morning, so a little down on this week's target, but still some good chunks of mileage going on there.
There is a local 5k trail race in the morning that if I am feeling OK I may have a go at, but this depends on football commitments and weather so very tentative at the moment.
Some great running going on here. Hypno - well done on your long run today. Becky - go girl! Great speed pic.Sealed Pot Challenge #8 £341.90

Well done Hypno - see we told you you could do it
Oooo can I just say - confirmed time 2 seconds off a pbsuper chuffed and:
Look at me go for the finish
And Rich - not sure where you staying 6 days after the mara for wimbledon since your usual hotelier will be in New York
If you can finish like that, you didn't try hard enough!;)
Actually, it looks like there was some good finishing speed by most of the runners. Not so sure about these 2 though:

Well done chick - despite a busy week (no there AREN'T any different kinds!) you have still got some good runs in - many would have used that as an excuse not to get out there (*looks at self in mirror
).
I hope you do your trail run - sounds like a nice bit of fun after the long run yesterday.
I won't be running today - very much a recovery day, but will look to go out tomorrow evening when the children are at karate.
Happy running everyone! I look forward to reading about lots of milage later on!
