Time for a MSE/DFW post. What do you get for your entry fee at the Abingdon mara?
Not sure its usually a medal, a t-shirt and a goody bag - banana, flap jack and a few other bits - nothing too great but you'r paying for the road closures/marshalling essentially

No, anyone gets it. It's just a quirk really, they pour you champagne from a tap, but you still pay for it, by the glass. )...so I may try to book after the race for a massage and hotel stay but just come up the morning of the race

Yeah, sadly it's just like saying you have "beer on tap" - it just saves them opening a bottle to give you a glass (or stick some in their rather tasty array of cocktails).

I am poorly this week, forgot to say, so haven't been out at all.

I'm getting a bit scared that I won't be able to pull this off, or that it will take much longer and I will embarass myself. I need to convince myself it doesn't matter if I do, it's better than nothing, right?
