I've not been out for a run today - work took all my energy today and I am just waiting for it to be a reasonable time to go to bed. I feel completely sapped. But, I am happy with my 10 yesterday, and will be ready for my long run at the weekend.....

    Week27
    Mon2/3 Rest Day
    Tues3/3 10K 57:32 (9:17/mile) (Pulse 78)
    Tues3/3 10K 57:26 (9:16/mile) (Pulse 76)
    Weds4/3 14.0 Miles 2:12:20 (9:27/mile) (Pulse 76)
    Thurs5/3 13.0 Miles 2:00:34 (9:16/mile) (Pulse 80)
    Thurs5/3 10K 56:26 (9:06/mile) (Pulse 68)

Well, well, well!! That is a new all-time record for my pulse reading after any sort of run. It was checked twice and has left me scratching my head! Is 68 possible?

It may be a reflection of being fully fuelled up, I haven't stopped eating today!:D Earlier this afternoon I had a triple chicken and bacon sandwich and a hot beef slice, drove a mile and then fancied a McChicken large meal! Then again, 19.5 miles today so it needs fuelling somehow!

And how come I get the champers bill?:p

Wow - eating for two?? ;) Good running though!

Actually - I've had a few interesting pulse readings recently - but I didnt dare post them in case I was wrong - interval session on Tuesday came out at 100...surely that cant be right can it/?

You get the bill because I'm worth it of course *Becky flicks hair in a pale imitation of the ad*

100 is a little low for intervals - unless you weren't trying of course!:p :p

My intervals are at about 120 now, so the pulse can get pretty low even when pushing. All the same 100 is VERY low!

    Worth it, eh? We'll see.........:p

I was trying but I just dont seem to get sweaty in the same way anymore - out of breath yes and I get hot on long runs...its weird but I'm going to re-check next week and see - maybe I was miss counting or something :o:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Come on you know I am :D:D:D, if only for the comedy value of drunken posts :rotfl:
