think i should do a few miles in heels... that will shorten my stride.. :D

as for pinkneonmartini.... Good luck with it, but get of them smokes... I give up last june ( not a million years ago i know but still fag free )

about 3 weeks of chewing gum and a sore jaw from chewing it seen me though the worse of it..

BTBH I just got board of smokeing ( after 11 years  ) so thats the reason I give them in.

UK - I'd like to see you walk a mile in my heels :D:D, Rich gets ill just looking at them and tells me off for wearing them at all...but I love them so and refuse to give them up :o:p
  • Id doubt if UK could manage a mile in heels us blokes just shouldnt even think about trying to do something that women have had decade to get used to doing.

Ha ha, now he's officially an old man ;)

For the record my wife's toes are mangled up from forever wearing pretty (but unsuitable) shoes. Just so you know what you're getting yourself into!

    Well done chick!

evab - I am glad you have the go ahead to run - take it easy!

sallyx - did you get out last night?

    Happy running everyone x

Yes Hypno I dragged my sorry bum there and did 4.5 miles and felt fine. Slept like a log last night and today I am paying for going out...feel absolutely dire but need to push on with training and debating about intervals tonight (not on training plan but need to really add another session to make up some mileage) or whether just to leave it until tomorrow

    ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Sally if you feel rough - avoid intervals for now, just go out for a gentle one - it wont make you any worse and will stimulate white blood cell production to help you get better - intervals are hard work and nasty when you feel unwell (maybe thats just my bias :o)

Yes Sally, no intervals, won't do you much good if you're not well. Nice long, slow run to get some more milage in your legs. Then do some intervals as soon as you're better and re-jig the program a bit.
