    Evening All!!!

Grrrrrr I HATE children (sorry rant commencing now) - I use my gated garden for intervals as the path around it is almost exactly 0.25 miles = great, very handy and private(ish)...

Anyway the rest of the garden is huge...but this evening a group of parents and their children decided to take over the whole garden with their bbq (=smoke everywhere) and hide and seek game...

Got round warm up and 1.5 intervals before I knocked into the 2nd child full speed and decided that I was going to end up falling over if not careful so gave up and came home...sooo cross why cant they just reign them in a little and say 'mind the girl running while you're playing' - my mother would have!!!!

On the good news did the first one in 7:36 and half in 3:45...

Right rant over off to shower now...grrrrrrrr

Thats very pretty UK but I wouldnt give up my city life for anything :D

To be fair I have run every week in the garden and thats the first time its ever been a problem - bit annoying though - and bad parenting ;)

    Mon16/2 Rest Day
    Tues17/2 3 x 1 Mile Intervals (6:38, 6:09, 5:59) (Avge 6:15) (Pulse 118)
    Tues17/2 10K 57:38 (9:18/mile) (Pulse 78)

What a pleasure to run without having to deal with ice, snow or children!

Ukevas - Well done, you can do it!:p Keep telling yourself you can run slowly....and sure enough one day you'll achieve it!:D :D

Raphael - Excellent steady progress. Its that regular ticking over of runs within your comfort range which will build all the infrastructure to allow you take on more over time.

Becky - Stop being grumpy!;) To be fair, I know exactly how infuriating it is - remember the fat dad who wanted to stand in lanes 1 and 2 while hollering at his kid? Similar kind of thing! Although I'm not sure that a quick shove of a kid into some nice prickly bushes would have slowed you down too much!:p :p Just forget it, you showed some nice speed in the half a session you did, enough to sharpen you up a bit ready for Sunday.:D

    Me too!!:p :p

Although, one or two select folks somewhere would have to be allowed to have one or two, under strict supervision of course, in the interests of keeping the human race continuing for a little longer.

People can keep having them but they should either parent them properly or lock them in a room till they are adults :D
