Thats right, a bit of a viscious circle with the less you run the more stressed you get, including about not running, and therefore the less you feel like running!

But the opposite is also true so a virtuous circle of the more running you do, the less stressed you are...and therefore the more you want to run.:D

Until you get to a stage where you feel a bit peeved that you've got a rest day, and its nice and sunny and you want to go for a run......:p But I'll get over it - probably with custard therapy as usual!:D :D:D

Anyway, glad you're loving it again.

I want to go out too :o, but I'm surpressing mine with cheese puffs :D:D
  • Urghhhhhh!!! Thats just wrong!:p :p

Yes its possible UK - you can already run 6.5 miles - but you wont be tearing round in training or you'll get an injury - and you'll have to use it as a base for better times later on...up to you!
  • Depends what you want to achieve tbh.

To go from running 10K to running a half in 9 weeks should be no problem. If you've got a specific target time, then its a 'maybe'.

It only does with the footpod thing - but I think it tends to come with the 50...

I'm a tightwad too - I agree its pricey - I just use map my run for distance and/or nokia sportstracker (which are both free :D):

hdr_frontpage_about.png Nokia Sports Tracker is a GPS-based activity tracker that runs on compatible Nokia mobile devices. Information such as speed, distance, and time are automatically stored in your training diary. On this site you can store and share your workouts and routes.

Well, I've got a nokia 6680, so not sure if it's possible to use that. Fairly bulky as well. On the other hand, it is very MSE!
