this can often happen if you leave excess concealer on the touche eclat brush, it is actually recommended you wipe the brush dry after use, as if there is an excess build up of product, it can lead to bacteria forming and building up, hence the smell. And it is also recommended that you clean the brush completely every now and again, using a mild soap solution

Talk about a generalisation!! Agreed people will try it because it sounds like a good buy; isn't this what bargain hunting is all about? But wouldn't other people buy it because they had seen it at full price and fancied trying it but couldn't justify buying it at full price? After all, how many comments on this forum relate to "Got such and such a thing for such and such a price - have really wanted to try it, am so glad I can now afford to"?
Wow, sounds like you took some offense at my comment, perhaps because you went to great lengths to get the deal yourself. My comment wasn't a slam of any kind to anyone who bought the UG product; I'm pretty mild mannered and don't aim to step on anyone's toes. We on this thread share thoughts on products, and when some Bootsers can't get a certain deal, it may actually make them feel better to know others don't think the deal is worth breaking their neck to get anyhow. Others said as much the last time this deal was offered.0 -
No - online and store stock are separate (they are almost ran as two separate companies). If you return .com stock via a store it is returned to .doc, you can't then buy it straight back from the store...
hi - i have been charged full price for a .com order - spoke to CS who said they would not honour it and could not cancel. Now I have the dispatch email so will be with me shortly. I was still hoping that I could return and re-purchase in store if I explaion what has happened. It is not a huge order - only 4 items. Can you def not re-purchase returned .com items as I have returned items to store before and always assumed that they just re-sell?
thanks xx0 -

Ballymena Tower Store, Ballymena Fairhill & Magherafelt have nothing left
Several people have reported it will start the 28th in-store, and several of them also correctly said the 50% off sale would start the 14th, so the info sounds reliable. hth0 -

Ooh why didn't I think to get them price checked? All of the ones near me are still £1.7* so not too bad paying 70 odd pence for shampoo/cond with 100 points but not as good as being paid to take it away! I like those glitches best!
Am pleased to hear the Pantene sachets are getting rave reviews as I got a small handful of these today.
I've also had a reply from Boots Customer Service apologizing for the errors on the sale website and saying There is no guaranteed date when this will be active again, however it will not be until this error has been corrected.... so still, as of tonight no closer to us getting our mitts on 75% things.0
