    Definitely not - it's .com stock not store stock. They're ran semi independently (a bit like John Lewis v John Lewis Online)

    gutted!! how frustrating to actually have the items I wanted in my hand but not be able to get them at the sale price!!! Shambolic web site....

    Wow, sounds like you took some offense at my comment, perhaps because you went to great lengths to get the deal yourself. My comment wasn't a slam of any kind to anyone who bought the UG product; I'm pretty mild mannered and don't aim to step on anyone's toes. We on this thread share thoughts on products, and when some Bootsers can't get a certain deal, it may actually make them feel better to know others don't think the deal is worth breaking their neck to get anyhow. Others said as much the last time this deal was offered.
    I have to agree with you, I got the Hair Elixir last time the offer was on and it is still in my bathroom as I wasnt impressed at all, I wouldnt go for it again, it does no more than a Pantene sachet would
    Finally, I can see you crystal clear

    I bought the Nivea one for my DD as i think she is too young for foundation,(she kept asking for it:rolleyes:) I'll have to pinch it and try some. I was intending on trying Loreal True Match Mineral make up next.[/quote]

    Is that the one that's in the l'oreal GWP? if so, I can send it to you (the sample foundation) I got a GWP for DD and she won't use the foundation.

    i just decided to try one of those vitamin c and probiotic sachets....one word comes to mind....DISGUSTING! Mine must be faulty because it certainly doesn't have the great blackcurrant flavour it promised on the box! It foamed in my mouth so much I thought I had rabies!!!

    Maybe yours was faulty. I got semi-hooked on them when I had a bad cold over Christmas -- they were a bit like sherbet, I thought! Mind you, I don't think I'd pay out for them as they are quite pricy to buy.

    But will the people who managed to get their one order through, or even their 2 or 3 or 4 orders through and delivered, stand back and let the ones who never even got to first base get a bite at the cherry this time?? Some will but not all.

    Yes I like many others would have been delighted to get one order through, but I have a feeling that things will be pretty much the same next time around. Cynical Me, Yes I am.

    Completely agree with you polls! It's a shame Boots don't implement some sort of sale preview for those who were disappointed - they would be able to tell who tried to get an order through, as when I phoned up on the sale day, I had two orders pending. One order was just my basket, must be classed as pending, but the other was where I had entered my card verification but still not got through. If they don't have the resources to do this online (which they clearly don't) then it could be done over the phone.

    I hope that everyone who didn't get to place an order gets a chance if .com sale goes live again :) I keep checking my basket several times a day to see if anything has changed, but given up hope of getting it now!
  • This one is mainly for mummies (or daddies:o );

    Nelsons Teetha powders are on 342 @ £4.70 per box, and Boots brand childrens medicines 1/2 price with health club. So, today I got;

    3 x teetha @ £9.40
    1 x 6m+ boots brand ibuprofen suspension @ £1.51

    Total £10.91

    used my £2.50 off healthcare from health club mailing, double points coupon and 50 extra points on any childs medicines

    Paid £8.41 and got 122 points

    Not mega fantastic,well it is if you use lots of teetha and calpol-type-stuff:rotfl:

    Also, got a pack of pampers nappies and used two coupons from the baby mailing - they both scanned together, I had a £2 off one and a £1 off one and both went through at £2 so saved four pounds on a lareg pack of pampers baby dry

    brook-son I ordered some stuff in the 50% sale which came in 2 parcels. The first arrived on the right day, but the 2nd was described as 'carry over' like yours. It arrived the next day so I assume it wasn't loaded onto the delivery van early enough and they kept it until the next day. Hopefully yours will arrive tomorrow.

    Thanks - problem is no-one will be in - suppose I will have to phone customer services. I am really annoyed :mad: as they had our phone numbers so could have called. They say between 8 and 19.00 so as I work my Mum stayed in all day. - as they had not come by 3.00 I had to leave work early to pick up my son from school.

    My Mum has a dentist appointment tomorrow morning then she is out with her friends - its not really good enough making people stay in all day and then not even phoning.

    Sorry all feel a bit better for the moan.
