Miss_Marple wrote: »Apologies for more chat, but couldn't resist this one. Have you tried Benefit Eye Bright ? It is a pink pencil designed for 'brightening' the outer corners of your eyes and the inner corners and side of nose. Couldn't do without it after a night out ! It doesn't cover circles under the eyes, though - Touch Eclat ( or equaivalent (I'm using Avon at the moment, which is fine)) for those.
No, I haven't tried that one- I had just about given up on finding anything that covers it! LOL It's strange though because I don't have any circles under my eyes or anything else- just the darkening at the very inside between the eyes and nose.
I have taken a note of 'Benefit Eye Bright' now though- and will more than happily give it a shot! Thank you for sharing your beauty secrets0 -
I bought it specifically for my dark circles as I'm lucky enough to not have spots and it certainly covered it more so than either the No 7 radiance thingy or touche eclat ever has. What I will say though is that the coverage looked a little too light so I think I will go and get the Rose Beige shade too and layer them as advised wherever it was I read it...can't remember now..senility!
Wonder what causes these dark areas 'cos most people I see only have the dark circles under the eyes. Pretty sure I'm not anaemic although I do have immune issues.

LOL Don't bother trying as their signs actually list Spa Rituals as exclusions to the offer of 2 for £6. Just in case anyone was planning it.
I have absolutely no idea what causes it- and I don't think it's age as I am 22 lol.
I have had this for as long as I remember and never figured it out. Perhaps affected people have very thin tissue in that specific area, therefore the skin could be quite transparent? I will do some sleuthing and come back to you when I find an answer!
Thank you for the tip also xxx0 -
Also what is the old Herbal Essence bottles people talk about and what bonus comes from them ie how do you know you have the qualifying bottle many thanks?
Don't know if n e 1 has answered to the above as still catching up... All Herbal Essence bottles give 100pts on purchase which is added automatically at the tills... however, some of the bottles r reduced 1/2 price (400ml bottles to £1.46/ 200ml bottles to 88p) so for the big bottles one would be paying 46p (bearing in mind the 100pts rtn on the bottle) and on the small bottles Mr B would be giving back 12pts (88p cost - 100pts automatically added). Funny you should say that - I think the same every time I use mine.

I don't like No7 foundations either. I have tried nearly all of them and I've had to throw quite a few away as they didn't agree with my skin. They are too heavy and make my skin look dull. The only No7 one I like is intelligent colour. I think it's called that. There was a mini version of it in a GWP a while ago. I think it was in the chinese wrap? I've been using this lately:I found it on a clearance shelf and it is really good. It is meant for young skin and I know I'm not exactly a spring chicken:rotfl: , but I love it!
Has anyone tried max factor miracle touch foundation? I bought some a few weeks ago to get the glitter GWP (SA wouldn't let me have GWP with a nail polish:rolleyes: ) I also got a concealer pen free worth £6.99 WYB any foundation. The offer doesn't appear to be on dotcom though0 -
mmh I might have to try the Mineral foundation now then,I always imagined the powder would cling to imperfections as skittifer says but I might give it a go.With a blinky of course and GWP .Pity I have no 250pts vouchers left.
What shade did you get skittifer?
I am quite pale and find No7 Foundations are too dark/yellow.
I am finally going back to work tomorrow, its quite scarey after 6 months off with BC.But my depression is lifting and I need normality in my life.(might need some of the Bachs sets I got in the sale!)
Unfortunately I will have less and less time for Bootsing as I build my hours up.
Thank you all for providing many hours entertainment and all the glitches and bargains.
I hope all MSErs that are under the weather (inc Sandras DS) will soon be better.
May treat myself to the foundation on Wed as a treat after working Tuesday!
I hope that all goes well tomorrow and that they welcome you with open arms. Have a good day and put your feet up when you get home!!0 -

Don't feel bad those who can't get this deal, as I think the only reason people really want this stuff is because it sounds like such a good buy if you can get something that was nearly £10 each at 2 for £6! It's not bad, but I wouldn't buy more if they had loads of it on offer at 2 for £6 with no hassle from SAs. I don't think I'd buy it on 2 for £4 even. Now if it was 2 for £4 and some extra points or a free gift, I might be interested, lol.
Talk about a generalisation!! Agreed people will try it because it sounds like a good buy; isn't this what bargain hunting is all about? But wouldn't other people buy it because they had seen it at full price and fancied trying it but couldn't justify buying it at full price? After all, how many comments on this forum relate to "Got such and such a thing for such and such a price - have really wanted to try it, am so glad I can now afford to"?0 -
