  • Apologies for more chat, but couldn't resist this one. Have you tried Benefit Eye Bright ? It is a pink pencil designed for 'brightening' the outer corners of your eyes and the inner corners and side of nose. Couldn't do without it after a night out ! It doesn't cover circles under the eyes, though - Touch Eclat ( or equaivalent (I'm using Avon at the moment, which is fine)) for those.
Benefit Boi-ing is supposed to be a good concealer (reviews on ciao). I tried Touche eclat once but had a strange problem where the brush used to smell horrible. Ended up throwing it away and wouldn't buy it again.

Yes, I get the darkening at the corners of my eyes/bridge of nose but I have NEVER been able to find anything that is good at covering it- would you say it's quite effective for this- or just for general coverage of spots etc? A trip to Boots may be in order- as if I needed an excuse! I haven't even been this year yet, and I know I am missing out on soooo much

I bought it specifically for my dark circles as I'm lucky enough to not have spots and it certainly covered it more so than either the No 7 radiance thingy or touche eclat ever has. What I will say though is that the coverage looked a little too light so I think I will go and get the Rose Beige shade too and layer them as advised wherever it was I read it...can't remember now..senility!
Wonder what causes these dark areas 'cos most people I see only have the dark circles under the eyes. Pretty sure I'm not anaemic although I do have immune issues.

LOL Don't bother trying as their signs actually list Spa Rituals as exclusions to the offer of 2 for £6. Just in case anyone was planning it. ;)

My local boots store had been cleaned out of sale stock by 10.30am on the first day of the 75% sale, so I had no luck there.
Went out of town and picked up one or two items.
But today I noticed one of the advantage chemists, which are now part of boots , had a little xmas gift sale section.
I am so pleased that I noticed, as I had been saving my points for ages to spend in the 75% sale,
plus my efforts to buy on line failed (as did most peoples!!).
So i am happy to say I picked up

1 x Luki Panda bag for 367 points,
2 x No7 mens skincare gift sets 293 points each,
2 x Royal jelly bags with products in 244 points each,

So it may be worth a look in your local boots pharmacy, just in case they have a small section like the one I found.

They also had the old summer No7 gwp for 325 points
The gold ladies xmas No7 gwp 650 points.

With blinkies I managed to find
    2 x No7 suntan lotion 200ml factor 15 for 88p each
    2 x No7 suntan lotion 200ml factor 25 for 88p each
    Very handy for holidays!

Keep a look out for reduced price, old design herbal essence @ 88p plus 100 points. HTH. :)

Don't feel bad those who can't get this deal, as I think the only reason people really want this stuff is because it sounds like such a good buy if you can get something that was nearly £10 each at 2 for £6! It's not bad, but I wouldn't buy more if they had loads of it on offer at 2 for £6 with no hassle from SAs. I don't think I'd buy it on 2 for £4 even. Now if it was 2 for £4 and some extra points or a free gift, I might be interested, lol.

I don't know if anyone else would find this a good one but.... Boots have the triple packs of Cadbury Cream Eggs and you can get them as part of the meal deal! I tried it out and it worked! :j (the tiny writing says it's all snacks under £1.35).

I'll be looking out for these! Also, searched for it but haven't seen it mentioned. Bottles of Oasis are bogof just now and can be used in the meal deal. I got two today with my meal deal and it only cost £1.97 :D . Would be even better with cream eggs!!

I agree skibster - I wouldn't buy it again, I wasn't that impressed at all. The pantene sachets on the other hand I was very impressed with, only half a sachet left my hair gorgeously soft and shiny :D
