I got an email from customer service about my complaint.
Anyway the bloke says in the email:

There is no guaranteed date when this will be active again (the sale), however it will not be until this error has been corrected. As soon as this has been done, the sale will be re-advertised again in advance before it is made active.

posted the same email earlier, im thinking maybe back on wednesday - maybe advertised tom in papers?
 If I say something you like....Please hit the thanks button
  • Does anyone know if the 90% sale will still be on? I take it that if the sale does come back online, then it will be at 75% off, rather than at 90%.

No - online and store stock are separate (they are almost ran as two separate companies). If you return .com stock via a store it is returned to .doc, you can't then buy it straight back from the store...

oh right, i see ! Sorry didn't know that, i assumed it would just be put back out in store. Luckily i managed to order online before it went down, but was just trying to think of a solution for everyone else.
Thanks for letting me know :j

had a fantastic shop today, found the big No7 make-up set in my local boots which was stuck on the top shelf of the reduced No 7 items (which was about 7ft high and i could only just see it !) it was without the cardboard cover so wasnt obvious.

I asked the No7 sa who got it down for me, it was on the clearance shelf as it had been damaged - ONE eyeshadow had a finger print in it and there was no 250 points voucher, i'll live with that ! it had been reduced to the bargainous price of £15.12 !!! WOO HOO :j :j :j My OH scowled and had a putter but there was no way I was leaving that behind !

There was no real sale stuff left in either The CHAPELFIELD or CASTLE MALL stores, just some wrapping paper. loads of pantene in both and clearance shelves with reduced natural collcetion nail varnish.

    HTH

  • Can anyone remember from last year when the perfume sets get reduced again? I bought one for myself and then ended up giving it as a gift so want to replace it at the cheapest price possible :D

    Thanks!

    Thanks!

We asked the SA incardiff who said that they weren't going to be reduced any further
We asked again in cardif bay, llanishen and talbot green and was told the same in them all - no more reductions:mad:

Mind reading something here on NO7 nail varnish at a reduced rate can someone mind me what that was about sorry but I have really looked through a lot of the threads and just cant find it TIA.
  • Thanks skittifer for the pic of the new No 7 ....how on earth did you get tat pic up...did you have to host it somewhere? I can't seem to use .com to source product pics like I used to.

    dotchas...
So glad to hear you're feeling well enough to return to work. :A

I've just come back from you know where (:D ) and I spotted the big bags of Maltesers in there normal branded display box thing but with Clearance written on price stickers on it!!
47p!!! for the bags that are usually £1 odd or on a good day near me 2 for £2. Don't know how long they've been on clearance for but there were only 4 bags left and now there are none......:o

So if you can resist the creme eggs being part of your lunch deals, don't look near the Maltesers!! :rotfl:

Also found some Pantene sachets so boosted my points then got a Maybelline Dream mousse concealer...which I've just tried and it actually covers really well. I had read an article somewhere saying it's best to use the Rose Beige colour first to counteract the blue tones (dark under eye circles) then use a lighter one on top. Well I didn't want to waste loads of points so just got the Natural shade and it's so good I will probably return via more Pantene sachets to get the pinky shade..see if that eliminates the 'tired' look altogether!
Does anyone else get darkness at the sides of the bridge of their nose??

Clearasil scrub was reduced to £2.** but was reduced by half again at the til so if you use this (my teens do, lol) then now is the time to get it, 'cos they don't half charge for this stuff!

If anyone is venturing into Chester they've rearranged the whole shop and I mean the whole shop! There are lots of empty shelves from the sale but they've moved them to just infront of the perfume section. I asked a SA if it was to house the new wonderful 90% sale items and she just referred me to the remaining 75% bit of wrapping paper/cat schmugs  so don't know whether she didn't understand or wouldn't say.
Seems a bit strange to me to leave lots of empty shelving once you've rearranged the shop floor....:detective smilie:

    (God, I've written an essay...sorry)

Yes, I get the darkening at the corners of my eyes/bridge of nose but I have NEVER been able to find anything that is good at covering it- would you say it's quite effective for this- or just for general coverage of spots etc? A trip to Boots may be in order- as if I needed an excuse! I haven't even been this year yet, and I know I am missing out on soooo much
