Sorry this is a bit chatty guys...
I posted the other day wondering what peeps thought of the No7 mineral foundation and blusher, especially as even the lightest shade looked quite dark, well I used them at the weekend and I have to say I love love love them! :j I have tried numerous mineral foundations (as well as other powdery foundations) and never got along with any of them, they always seemed to look like they were clogging pores and sticking to any inperfectionsbut this foundation is brill! You just need the lightest of "dustings" too, just build it up tiny bit by bit, less is definitely more. The brush it comes with is very good.
Just for reference I wore P&P serum, eye cream and day cream underneath as well as a bit of Benefit That Gal primer, oh and a bit of S&G Trick and Treatment to hide the dark circles (I think this is almost as good as Touch Eclat and is much cheaper).
I got a couple of compliments too (very rare :rotfl: )
So especially whilst there is a GWP with it, these are definitely a good use of a blinkie3 children under 5 means not enough comping and crafting time
August wins: Krisprolls tin :rotfl:
September wins: £100 H&M gift card0 -
I know this is chatty too........ but skittifer, you have the most gorgeous avatar! What a cute little thing he is!
I am also very thankful for your post about the No7 minerals foundation and blusher- i will definately give this a try as I am quite pale and had tried the Loreal Minerals collection, which even the lightest shade seemed dark and I found them very patchy and higlighted any imperfections etc, rather than disguising them! Just need to earn some blinkies now lol.
Thank you again :beer:0 -
Hi all Just wanted to say thanks for all your tip offs regarding the 75% sale. I logged on about 3.30am and got loads of stuff. Mainly the alcohol gift sets as they dont seem to be in our store! Any tip off when the stuff in shop will go 90% off? Last year I went in at 9.00am of the 90% day and even staff werent aware and were gobsmacked at the prices i paid!! It was mostly Lynx and teb baker sets but at only £1 - £1.50 a set was great. My husband is still well kitted out for smellies!! Any one got any dates??
Thanks xx :beer:0 -
See what with a gwp and a blinkie the no7 mineral is becoming really tempting!! But will still be £8 wasted if it isn't really what I'm after...this is too confusing!0

i just decided to try one of those vitamin c and probiotic sachets....one word comes to mind....DISGUSTING! Mine must be faulty because it certainly doesn't have the great blackcurrant flavour it promised on the box! It foamed in my mouth so much I thought I had rabies!!!
Anyway back on topic, went back to store today as I was so happy that I found the twinkle lip gloss for £2 on clearance I bought 2 and forgot about 3 for 2 so I took receipt in today and my favourite no7 lady let me get a nail varnish for nothing even though it was more expensive than the lipgloss!SLIMMING WORLD 13/5/2012- 6lb loss total weight loss 5 stone 8lb
WEIGHT WATCHERS 1/1/11- 12/5/2012 highest loss 6 stone 4lb- final loss 5 stone 2lb :mad:0 -

Yup, the 90% sale starts Wed 28th from what I've read on here.
Although you'll be very hard pressed to actually find anything in it considering everything flew off the shelves during the 75% off bit....unless they get more stock..which is what we are all hoping for I suppose.....oh and the sale to come back online
.......Jellybaby prays to the Boots god..........
Erm, what's the new No 7 GWP then? How could I have missed that. LOL0 -
I don't know if anyone else would find this a good one but.... Boots have the triple packs of Cadbury Cream Eggs and you can get them as part of the meal deal! I tried it out and it worked! :j (the tiny writing says it's all snacks under £1.35).0

After this years debacle on Boots.com, I really hope they decide to implement a similar system to Next online sale, whereby you get a time slot and VIP invite if you spend enough/ place enough online orders with them throughout the year, much more civilised and sensible, and certainly no crashing of website. Also think online should definately also limit number of each item that you can purchase 3/4 should be enough for anyone, other than in fairly special circumstances.Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:0

mmh I might have to try the Mineral foundation now then,I always imagined the powder would cling to imperfections as skittifer says but I might give it a go.With a blinky of course and GWP .Pity I have no 250pts vouchers left.
What shade did you get skittifer?
I am quite pale and find No7 Foundations are too dark/yellow.
I am finally going back to work tomorrow, its quite scarey after 6 months off with BC.But my depression is lifting and I need normality in my life.(might need some of the Bachs sets I got in the sale!)
Unfortunately I will have less and less time for Bootsing as I build my hours up.
Thank you all for providing many hours entertainment and all the glitches and bargains.
I hope all MSErs that are under the weather (inc Sandras DS) will soon be better.
May treat myself to the foundation on Wed as a treat after working Tuesday!:j I love bargains:jI love MSE0
