Clean or dirty toilets are always a featured point with me (where relevant). It's important! Plus whether staff are nice or arsey.0

At last mine came today too.......Thanks to Qype.....It was worth the effort and worth the looooong wait too.....
Now just thinking where to spend it on....????
I think it needs to be spent in one go....and cannot be spent like Amazon one..... bit by bit.....or am I missing something....?????

I got mine today (postman got me out of bed to sign for it). Sadly, I've already bought my flights to the US, dammit.
Unless you signed up before (I think) 18 November 2008, and became a Ninja before 31 December (I could be slightly wrong on the dates) you don't get any goodies.

With the greatest of respect to people who've been told that their reviews were too short (and I've not read them so can't and am not commenting personally) would you really expect to be paid for reviews that just scrape though either. Writing 3 sentences about somewhere is a piece of cake - it doesn't tell the public much about a place in general. Writing reviews that something isn't there is clearly not going to count either - there's facility on Qype to report a place as closed.
To write 100 words about a place shouldn't be challenging and shouldn't require anyone to write padding in the form of "Well I think" or anything else.
I've tried to use Qype as a resource to plan a trip to a city I'd never been to before and, to be honest, it was carp and I couldn't. Bare bones reviews telling me that a post office sells stamps or a bar sells booze are just not helpful. Telling me that I can't get in there with a buggy, or that the glasses re always dirty is.
I for one am glad that Qype are enforcing some kind of standards... heck, they're hardly onerous. You don't get money for nothing in a real freelance job so why expect it here.
Well, size isn't everything and is certainly not a measure of quality. I'd much sooner read a review that gets to the point without all the crap!0 -

I think a lot depends on the place you're reviewing. 100 isn't enough to do a theme park justice, but I found myself struggling to get to 100 words on a corner shop.Moving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0 -

Oh thats a shame - has thisjust changed because when i joined and became ninja (after Dec 31st) the ipod was still showing and it said "You only get this picture set ofgoodiesif you qualified before 31st Dec, we are still working on the goodies for the excitingnew pack" - paraphrased obviously.MSE-ing since 20070
