Exactly and given that they haven't even bothered to tell us coupled with the fact so many were "missed off" I think they are struggling to pay out and therefore either being very strict or lying to avoid paying out so many vouchers - either way, we've completed work for them and not been paid.
I think it's much better to have proper reviews than a load of excess "well what i think" type of sentences just to use up the word count.
I also want my reviews removed if they're not paying up or giving a second chance
BTW, is it just me or were people on the amazon challenge saying they'd been given a 2nd chance when they were a few words/reviews short - anyone else remember this?0 -
still no voucher....anyone else?0

Nothing for me yet either - but to be fair the email said within a week, and that was
3rd (Tues) so not been a full week yet.0 -
With the greatest of respect to people who've been told that their reviews were too short (and I've not read them so can't and am not commenting personally) would you really expect to be paid for reviews that just scrape though either. Writing 3 sentences about somewhere is a piece of cake - it doesn't tell the public much about a place in general. Writing reviews that something isn't there is clearly not going to count either - there's facility on Qype to report a place as closed.
To write 100 words about a place shouldn't be challenging and shouldn't require anyone to write padding in the form of "Well I think" or anything else.
I've tried to use Qype as a resource to plan a trip to a city I'd never been to before and, to be honest, it was carp and I couldn't. Bare bones reviews telling me that a post office sells stamps or a bar sells booze are just not helpful. Telling me that I can't get in there with a buggy, or that the glasses re always dirty is.
I for one am glad that Qype are enforcing some kind of standards... heck, they're hardly onerous. You don't get money for nothing in a real freelance job so why expect it here.0 -

I think my voucher came this morning. There's a card through the door to pick up a letter that needs a signature. Can't get it until Monday now though.Moving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0

These are always the kind of reviews that I write. My family make fun of me because I make comments about toilets and and dirty cutlery and aisle width but these are the things that people need to know along with the friendliness of the staff and length of queues how many steps value for money etc...~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

mine finally arrived as well, woohoo!
For people saying that they are going to go through and count word-by-word or that they couldn't and have therefore failed - If you're using MS Word then go to tools > wordcount. If you're using OS X's Pages, then Inspector > document inspector > info. If you're worried about copying and pasting from a doc (some review sites have software to catch this out in case of plagarism) then type directly into website and copy and paste into one of these programs before submitting. And if you don't have any word processing apps at all then use this website - http://www.wordcounttool.com/
You shouldn't have to estimate or count by hand.
