Buttons' little face actually made me cry, the poor little thing.
I have no idea how people can buy dogs from breeders when so many need rescuing. I really really wish I was in a position to be able to rescue a couple of dogs.
I will send my stamps to this charity from now on; you do an absolutely fantastic job. People who work with animals are my most favouritest in the world.

Iv - Im afraid its just stamps. From what I understand (?) a company puts them in little packets and sells them to people all over the world.
Thanks Piggles and you are very welcome to join the forum and be a volunteer aswell - it doesnt matter where you live in the country - you could do fundraising, put forward ideas, put up posters, anything really - the more people the better
LT - Flavia has a rescue place offered in Royston, Yorkshire.
Thanks so much breeze, ales, all the people kindly sending old stamps. I cant remember what they said, but I think about a kilo pays for one day in emergency boarding?0 -
I would absolutely love to do fostering, but I live in rented accommodation in a complex.
Hence, I'm not allowed to keep animals in the flat under the terms of my tenancy agreement, but I would if I didn't live in such a built up and over-looked property.
100% honestly, being able to rescue a couple of dogs is the main (well possibly the only) reason that I actually want to buy a property of my own!'I can't deny the British influence on my accent and mannerisms, but I don't know the British national anthem, I didn't weep for Princess Diana and I always cheer when Britain loses at sport. That's how British I am' Constantine-Simms. :T
