    Hi Ladies,

Sexki11en - you should really kick up a stink. I used to work for a large hotel chain and part of the wedding package was a room to get ready in! They can't expect you to pay £175!!! At the least you'll only be using it during the day so at the most I would pay 50% of that £175. Complaining gets you everywhere :)

Nic, I travel quite a bit in the UK for my job, but it's once in a blue moon they actually post me abroad - which is good considering I don't do flying very well lol

I really need to order my veil before my first dress fitting next month - but I'm stuck in a lull at the mo. But I did manage to drag my lazy !!! to the Church on Sunday for the 8am service, and had a chat with the vicar afterwards to book our meeting with him at the end of April. H2B is looking forward to that one lol

    I need to do a list.......badly!!!

Mrs. Metallica: I dont think the groom will mind, particularly if he isnt paying! It means he is surrounded by more lovely ladies (with the loveliest being you of course) ;)

 I found this thread on the second page lol

Well, still no wedding stuff done today :( Spent a lot of time trying to get Michael Jackson tickets tho :rotfl: Managed to get 2 tickets for September, so that will be nice after the honeymoon. Currently arguing with OH over who's paying for them :rotfl: Then we settled on, after the wedding it's not my money or his money, but our money. He still can't get his head round that even though we've been together 7 years, and lived together for 6 :D

    Hi Steph,

Go on this thread and post a reply asking if anyone's got a spare code - some people won't use theirs. All of the O2 codes have gone - but there are still MJ pre sale codes flying around:

Also, I had a bit of a drama with underwear and actually managed to find a really nice set (with matching garter ;) ) from M&S. It is their Autograph range and is a strapless bra with matching brief or thong.....and they're very nice! Just under £50 total (including hold ups)

That's why I got mine now - i have to take mine to my first dress fitting in April. I thought that it might be a good time to get my bra size measured as I haven't done that in years - good thing I did it turns out I've gone up a size

    The set I got is:

    http://www.marksandspencer.com/gp/product/B001ORIJEM/sr=1-1/qid=1236801422/ref=sr_1_1/277-5287871-0593448?ie=UTF8&node=42966030&m=A2BO0OYVBKIQJM&keywords=autograph%20bra&mnSBrand=core&size=63&rh=&page=

I would have liked a corset but I don't think it would sit well under my dress as that is boned, plus I doubt I would wear a corset again lol

That is very lovely. I was thinking of getting a corset too but the top is a strapless corset so I guess that covers the pulling in the middle bit ;) so just need a strapless bra that makes me look like I have something. Think a trip to M&S and Debenhams will hopefully sort this out!! Thanks for your suggestion (and also the MJ thread - think Ill let fate decide on friday morning)

OOPS only just seen this, sorry Aimee21 :o - really cool to see others getting married on the same day :j

Thought I was getting fed up of my friends asking how the planning was going as I cant have a conversation without being asked but its nice to speak to people in the same boat if that makes any sense!
