  • This surely has to be a joke? No 29 year old man could possibly be this immature and selfish surely? I feel sorry for his poor landlady.

Molong, if you're not a troll and this is all true, please speak to a friend or family member and tell them what you have told us. Maybe if they react the same as us you will trust their feedback.

Unfortunately Sunny Jim as a lodger you can be kicked out at any time your landlord feels like so don't be surprised if you come back, find your stuff on the doorstep and can't get in.

As you are a male and the landlord if a female I strongly suggest you don't shout at her, threaten her or distress her in any way otherwise she can call the police and depending on who turns up they will find something to arrest you on.

Also if you wish to get your deposit any sooner then you have to take legal action. Shelter, the housing advice charity can give you advice but you probably won't like what you hear judging by how upset you get when others have pointed what is wrong with your behaviour.

His friend or family member will be doing everything in their power to ensure he doesn't move in with them so they may disagree with us all. :p

I expect they all breathed a sigh of relief when he left Somerset for the mean streets of London. A modern day !!!!!! Whittington do you think or just a !!!!!!? :rotfl:
Mortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j
  • Im with the rest of you that think this is a troll, however, just to get my points in....

OP....Can you for just 1 minute put yourself in your Landlady's shoes and imagine living with you? I think you would soon realise what a selfish, self-centred little !!!! you were being.

And for the life of me I cannot think why anyone would need 50 mins in the bathroom?? What the hell were you doing in there???
My home is usually the House Buying, Renting and Selling Forum where I can be found trying to (sometimes unsucessfully) prove that not all Estate Agents are crooks. With 20 years experience of Sales/Lettings and having bought and sold many of my own properties I've usually got something to say ;)
    Ignore......check!

    I've rented for years. I don't own a house.
I've been in a similar situation as a lodger with disagreements with an "unreasonable" landlady.

However. You sir are an utter jackass.
I cannot believe you have got to 29 years old and staying so immature.
Grow up! Better still, go back to mum and dad as you seem to think it's where you are living.

What is even worse, nay funnier, is that you are actually encouraging conflict with your land lady.
    Are you mental? :rotfl:
She can kick you out on a whim. Would you care to put your balls into the sharks mouth at all ? :o
From what you've written, she seems to have more restraint than Ghandi.

Certainly enough to put people off having lodgers.

She seemed to be able to give as much as she got initially. Very petty.

People have to be able to give and take when living together for a business relationship. But some seem incapable.

This thread is hilarious. I initially thought troll but given his replies I'm thinking spoilt little boy. I really hope the OP comes back and lets us know whether he got kicked out or not. Should just about be hometime for most businesses...
