In response to molong, I believe your situation is tenuous, as being a lodger you don't have the same protection as a tenant. But you do have a contract, so get yourself down to CAB or ring Shelter immediately.
In the meantime, the best thing to do is to apologise to your landlady, accept you've made mistakes, and promise to try harder for the remaining time. Basically try to get on her good side.
Best of luck.
Can I now take the opportunity to apologise for my above post. He is a nutter (or "Troll").0 -

This thread is hilarious. I initially thought troll but given his replies I'm thinking spoilt little boy. I really hope the OP comes back and lets us know whether he got kicked out or not. Should just about be hometime for most businesses...
I agree! I sat reading this on my mobile phone earlier and couldn;t be bothered to reply then. (To time consuming on my phone).
the OP sounds like a spoilt little slob to me, based purely on the information that they, themselves have provided.
I hope that the reason we have not heard from him is because the landlady has locked him out so he can't get onto his computer!!!
I really can't believe that someone thinks it is acceptable to ring abroad using someone elses phone (without permission!) and then have the audacity to moan when she checks up!
Karma..... think karma, everyone. (What comes around, goes around).
JenI love giving home made gifts, which one of my children would you like?:A

Oh Gods, you are right. If she's slung him out we won't get an update.
Quick! All you sarf London MSE-ers - divide into groups and start driving round to see if there's a troll standing in the street surrounded by his possessions (sans towels and sheets) ranting at his ex-landlady!0 -

...i moved in on december 14 and realized that the walk from the station to the house took me a good 15 mins and was uphill too! i mentioned it to my landlady and she said to me that i had walked up there to view the house and didn't i realize that then!
i like a fry up for lunch and another cooked dinner at night. when i am working i only cook breakfast and dinner when i get home.
I couldn't understand the reason you complained about the walk until I read the second bit.
"i told her not to push me somewhere i didn't want to go."
You're talking about that hill again aren't you..0 -
