If only I could somehow get OH to hibernate it would be a lot different. It's like living with 2 different people, the summer one and the winter one.

Firs can say Thankyou to the board guide.

Just come back fro my gp's and had my dosage for anti-depressants put up, and if that doesn't work then I am going to referred fr some cognitive therapy (I think thats what he said, as I was crying my eyes out).

I dint think to ask whatha involved but it sounds ominous.

I am not going to lower myself and get into another slanging match.
You know damn well why I am not with my mum.

And anyway she is currently not that well as she has had chemo and she is sleeping most of the time.

It's not in the least ominous and can be very effective. Google if you want to understand what it is.

So have you had this therapy? or know someone who has?
Isnt this forum and particularly this thread a reliable source?
  • I ****ing hate the people at early intervention team! i got a call last week from a CBT therapist saying that my care co-ordinator had referred me for CBT. i explained to him that i had already been discharged from early intervention as they have come to the conclusion that my voices and paranoia etc. are not due to psychosis. i get a letter from the guy arranging an appointment for today. he turns up, asks me a ton of questions for over an hour as if hes doing an initial assesment then says he cant come again as ive not got a worker in the early intervention team!!!!! why waste my flipping time then?!

unfortunately these days ,you can not believe a lot, what is written on threads ...as some people make up a load of **** on here.we are not specialist's on any subject ,and can not advice other people what to do...what works for us .may not work for other's.if you want to know more it's best to google it! or go to loacal pain clinic for advice.
the truth is out there ... on these pages !!
