Hello fellow kennel-keepers.:D
I'm so late online today, I daresay Marrowgirl will have had her interview. I hope it went well!
So Sad Angel nice to see you back; sorry to hear that you're starting to have a rough time again though. If it helps at all, you're among friends here.
MessedUp hey, well done you! Is it just me, or do others find that even winning a little thing in a raffle cheers them up?
We went and visited the wolves yesterday, which was lovely. Thankfully the weather stayed nice.
Hope you're all having a good day today. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Hi I've suffered from depression for over three years now and I just wanted to say how great it is that you are all supporting each other. I understand how some of you feel and have had days when I didn't see the point of waking up in the morning.
In my experience things have always improved from the really bad days I've had. I've managed to cope at the bad times by just trying to take each day at a time and not think too far ahead. I distract myself by watching a film or something and then things dont seem so bleak.
I fully understand the struggle coping with depression is and strongly urge anyone posting in the forum or just browsing to please speak to someone and get the help you need. Remember that no matter how bad things get there is always someone you can talk to and your not alone. Best wishes to you all.0 -

Hello -just a quickie...
Interview went well and I got the job! Start in a weeks time 3 days a week, then 5 days if I cope well. yippeeee! The boss and HR were really helpful with hours etc -such a difference from my old boss.
So tired today -being happy and smiley is still an effort for me- so vegging out on the sofa. Have a half day training/get to know people session tomorrow.
So sad Angel
-Try not to worry (easier said than done, i know) -if you are starting to feel the signs of the anxiety you are prepared and can take action. You've been there before and know it will pass. I know I will have good periods and dark times. I can cope with the panic attacks much better now coz I know i've been at the bottom of the abyss and I can climb out again. Hope things feel easier soon.
love to all.

Way to go Marrowgirl! :j:j:j Really, really pleased for you. I'd dance around the room, but I'm sure you'll understand if I stick to doing it metaphorically. LOL
Welcome gregrichards, I totally agree with what you say about not looking too far ahead; also, I always try to have something nice, no matter how small, in the near future, to focus on.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

so had my ESA medical today. wasn't as bad as i thought it would be, it only lasted about 25 minutes then the nurse doing it disappeared cos she apparently had to check something with a collegue, then she came back asked a few more questions and that was that. I was expecting the work-focused health related assessment as well but she said nothing about it and it never happened. Now its just a case of waiting..and i hate waiting. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Hi MessedUp, hard as it is, the best thing now is to just try and put it out of your mind til you hear further.
I'm glad the medical itself wasn't too awful (I wait in trepidation to be summonsed for this).
Have a cup of *insert beverage of choice* and chill out for the rest of the afternoon.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
