RBK sorry to hear your in hospital but at least its keeping you safe. Are there any other patients you can relate to? I found that O.T. helped pass the time.

Went out today to the local shop. Very paranoid but I kept my cool even though I wanted to crawl in a corner and hide.

Thanx Rachel for the link. S'funny seeing your bubs grown up - he's everything I could have wished for. Even came shopping with me today so I wouldn't slip - what a gent!!
Well done for going out. You need a support worker like me to go out with you. I have a some wonderful clients and we always usually end up wetting ourselves laughing. I've not been in that position but have worked with several people who feel like you do. It WILL get better.

Er I thanked the post because of the hard decisions soolin and the BGs make. they dont always go my way but rules are there for a reason. the Arms and Dt have different remits. This board is Disability and Dosh. the clue is in the title.
discussion time is much more free so you are welcome to go there and discuss in a more open way. the danger is your ego may get hammered because not everyone will agree with you.
Bgs on this site have a difficult time getting the balance right between free speech and possible litigation.
As people say this thread is for support but is it the person or the depression that is being supported?

went into town with hubby to pay the bills and get the food shopping, i was so anxious my legs were shaking, i nearly fell down the car park stairs!

i managed about 3 hours out in total, i felt terrible when oh left me alone to go the loo though! what on earth is happening to me?! at 15 i went to america alone to stay with a family id never met, nowadays i cant go into my local town centre without my husband?!

i got a letter from the jewellers about the mis-sold wedding ring insurance saying that the manager would give us a discount on a replacement ring so we went to the shop but my ring was £599 (paid for by tesco vouchers from MIL!), and it had gone up to £799, she was offering us it at £700! so it was get into debt or have no ring to wear, i felt really bad but i had to choose no ring to wear.

i came home to letter from the ESA, ive been awarded it from 3rd Jan and NI credits as long as i send in doctors notes, i sent off the 6 week one today and my doc said we would review it then and see how i feel.

it mentions that i might need to attend a work focus interview and/ or a work capability assesment, ive heard horror stories about these so id appreciate it if anyone could shed some light on them for me?

i hate feelign like this, i cant go anywhere alone, my ocd is so bad i need my husband to check things he hasnt checked for me in years, i cant sleep without sleeping tablets and all thats in my head is to hurt myself or OD again.

Crazy Girl despite finding it hard you still went out. That is an achievement.
Can you go for a cheaper ring or do you know somebody who is a good haggler?

ive got a swarovski ring my mum gave me if i just wanted something to wear, what i really want is my wedding ring back and i cant have that

hi crazy girl , ive been to one of those interveiw , just explained things said i was being treated and waiting on councelling and haven't heard much since , ive now moved to england because of my abusive ex and have to start again, new doctors , new claims , it panicking me a little bit too as im not sure of the syteme here , but dont think its that much different from ni ,

fearfulness is a syptom and it can really freak one out , i used to go childish when i got scared , and start figiting and counting things , i didnt want to go out anywhere and didnt want to see anyone , and even now if i forget a med or too it returns for a day or so , and feels awful

important thing is dont give up going out , and try arrange an outing for fun , nothing with added stress , like crowds , messages , shopping ,

go for a quiet walk wi hubby , enjoy the snow,i wanna go sledging this weekend , try a little bit or something you want to , not something you have too and it might help
