Sandy, if you don't feel like posting anymore, don't forget the PM option. I'm always here, specially now I have my new netbook.

    Busylizzy, welcome, make yourself comfortable.

CG great to "see" you mate; how's young Barky?

WVW likewise - will get on my desktop PC later to read Rigg the Pig's latest exploits (I have him bookmarked there).

LadyM thanks for checking in - I think we all go through a period of not feeling like posting sometimes, but it's good to just pop your head round the door and wave, so's we know you're still hangin' in there.

Jenni, mate, you're an inspiration! I'm trying to get the better of the lupus - Mr LW has threatened to buy a Wii Fit, as we both need to lose some weight, and I need to get my joints back to the idea of co-operating with my requirements.

OK, this post is getting long, so I'll shut up now; Happy New Year everyone.

Oh, and please excuse typos, still getting used to the netbook.:o

thanks mate :) barkys good, she has very much enjoyed all of the attention she got over christmas and shes starting to tolerate my mum and dads new dog!

i fancy one of them wii fits too, id love to work out but i wouldnt be able to go to a gym no way! if you do get one, please let me know how you get on with it.

I am a little anxious because my temporary work contract ends tomorrow.

It is the only job I have liked in the 3 years of being ill and I have moved from one job to the next.

I am crossing everything and hoping that I am able to stay.
All the bits I can cross, I have crossed for you.:D

Aww, bless, it's so good when dogs play nicely together; and it does them good to socialise with their own kind, too.

Wii Fit is slightly on the back burner at the mo, while we look into the logistics of where to put it, but I'll let you know if/when we get it. I couldn't go to a gym, either; I think I'd sooner chew my own leg off than go through that!

WVW, that pic of Rigg is brilliant!:rotfl:

Right, back to my computer maintenance......;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Gah!! I did it again today, self harmed, I felt upset, so I just did it :(. I really want help.... Still on the waiting list for, concolling, I understand that, I just feel down, I have stuff to look forward to though, so I am trying to focus on that, but its so hard, cause my mates live far away and I only see them every other month, I dont have many mates where I live, so I find it all difficult.... I sometimes think why dont we live near by.

darknesshayz-if you can. go back to your GP and tell them you need the counselling/extra support NOW. I had to do a similar thing (was waiting months for CBT) but they did listen and now have a "team" to turn to for support. Ty notto feel too bad about the SH, see it as slip up. That happens to all of us at some point, the important thing is to realise what made you do it, and try and move on (and recognise the urge next time).

Is there anyway you can call you friends? Or maybe even write them a letter? It might help if you have their letters or phone calls to look forward to?

I agree with Bagpuss. If your doctor knows about your self harming, he should get you pushed up the list. A good doctor will do that anyway. Don't suffer in silence. My doctor knows that is one of my signs that he needs to act.

Thanks for making me feel welcome guys.
