dlm, I am so sorry. What an awful shock for everyone.:(
CG, Shazrobo, Limelight and everyone else on here, I hope today is a calm and peaceful one for you. Well done everyone who had to deal with rellies they don't really get along with.
I'm just online checking for email while MR LW does his early morning checks (work) then we're nipping out for a newspaper. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Thank you LW.
How has everybody been today? x x0 -
It is unusual not to have any posts by this time in the afternoon, I hope you are all keeping OK.
Think of me though chasing crickets and locusts round the house. My sons keep lizards and reptiles, quite a few of them and they have live food and the cat has worked out how to get into the live food containers and has let several boxes go free so she can chase them.
My sons are all out, so I am trying to pick all these things up all round the house, the cat has gone int overdrive and my OH, bless him, has stomped off to wash the car in freezing temperatures as he can't abide all this fuss and upset.

I'm very much afraid I'd be out there helping your husband wash his car, rather than help you pick up all the bugs . I'd be no good in a bush tucker trial _pale_.
I hope everyone who has been suffering over the festive period is feeling better and I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's mum dlm - you're a good friend.
My family went out on Christmas eve and (according to witnesses) DD2 slipped quite spectacularly on the ice, did a sort of back flip with feet up in the air and landed on her head and back. DH dashed out to pick them up - having to de-ice the car beforehand:rolleyes: and after he got her home and she managed to get changed he ran her around to A & E as the pain was similar to when she broker her clavicle. Luckily the docs think it is just bad bruising and two days later she is feeling much better.
I am coping and that's about the best I can say.
Love and hugs to all who need them :kisses3:.Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever

Unity, your poor daughter! I mis-read at first and thought it was your son and thought about his poorly leg.
soolin Thank you for making me snigger *g* What a clever little purrbaby you have! Clip boxes to be bought in Xmas Sales?
I cheered myself up with a visit to the Lush sale yesterday and managed to spend a fair amount of money that I shoul;dn't have, but my daily baths are a joy to me in terms of pain relief and lush bath bombs just make them, well, Lush!
Still have days stretching ahead of me with nothing to do after Sister's non-visit. Went to Dad's today though with spare food and had a really nice lunch with them, walked the dogs and it kept me nicely occupied for the day. I'm not good with too much time to think at the moment.
My knitting is also keeping me sane - watching tv in the evenings can be lonesome, but watching tv and knitting is a whole different box of frogs.
Hope everyone is managing OKI must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

Thank you both. I wish I could stop being so sensitive.
I had a terrible christmas, hubby decided to give up smoking on christmas day of all days so he spent the whole day either screaming at me or the kids or laid in bed watching tv. My parents were here so it didn't go down well.
One of my last remaining mates has fallen out with me and I know its for good.
The seizures are really getting to me as well.
I am so tired and in pain all the time. New year is approaching and I feel I just can't face another one. I am a terrible wife and mother and I just don't want to be here anymore.Sealed Pot Challenge Member NO. 853 :j0 -

Aw Sandy, can your doctor not do anything about the seizures?
What has happened with your friend?
I am still your friend even if I am only an on-line one.
I am sure you are a good wife and mum.
Take care x x0 -

I have started on a new AED to go alongside the one I am on now but it takes so long to get to the right dose and I don't think I can wait any longer.
My friend wants me to be the person I was before the epilepsy started and I can't be. She said she was sick of me being a miserable cow. (Its the friend I posted about before, we were trying to patch things up)
Thanks for your kind words and I really don't know what I would have done without the wonderful people on here.
Sadly I know I am an awful wife and mother, I get told it often enough.
Everything is just too hard at the moment.
Sorry dlm I forgot to say I'm so sorry about your friends mum, It must have been awful.Sealed Pot Challenge Member NO. 853 :j0 -
Sandy have a (((HUG))) from me. I am sure you are a good wife and Mother. What is making you believe otherwise?
I hope your GP can give you something to control the seizures.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--
