me too, i hope your friends alright

I called round his house with a card for him and his partner.

He wasn't there because she had just collapsed and died in front of him.

He had gone to the hospital with her in an ambulance.

I looked after their children whilst his partner got ready to go to the hospital.

I have offered to look after the children when it's the funeral.

How are you today? x x
  • how sad, today of all days

youre being a good friend offering to help out
  • Hi everyone.

dlm, I'm really sorry to hear about your friends Mum. I hope your friend is doing OK/as well as can be given the circumstances.

  • Hi everyone.

I was totally stunned when his partner told me.

She was just putting her shoes, perfume on etc...

Getting ready for the big day and she just collapsed and died.

I think it must be a heart attack with it being so sudden.

    The children were very shaken.

They were having a bath and heard her collapse.

The young boy kept saying she was putting her shoes on and touching her shoe.

It was very sad to see but I reassured him that she had died quickly and in no pain
