I'm not really excited at the prospect of Xmas but I'm excited about seeing people's reactions to the pressies OH and I got them.

I'm used to spending Xmas on my own, so it's a new thing to be around people.

so far hubby has liked his pressies i got him, feelign a bit sick at the prospect of mums and dads and grandmas and grandads not liking theirs heres hoping!

(((big hugs))) for everyone, its a hard time of year for a lot of us, i've been up since 7, with the kids, and i'm ready for my bed already. kids enjoying their presents, i'm just sat here alone, wishing my bf was here, but hes spending it with his family

Not stupid at all Sandy; I'm a bit like that myself, specially in RL. If we get another troll at some point, just use your Ignore option and let it all wash over you. HTH.

I only came online briefly to check a couple of bills (as you do) but thought I'd stop by to wish everybody a good holiday weekend (as you probably know, as a Pagan I don't really "do" Xmas)

Happy Christmas everyone, I hope no one minds but it is comforting to know that others are also not really in the festive spirit. Really not looking forward to an afternoon of relatives ...

A special thought for those who are no longer with us, but have enriched our lives in so many ways, and will continue to do so in our memories.

Now I'm blubbing! Thinking of you all today x

We do care and I know that life can be difficult.

I lost my friend to suicide 3 year's ago and I hope that nobody has to go through a similar loss.

I attended meetings after his death arranged by S.O.B.S. the amount of people upset at them meeting's due to losing a loved one has made me decide that I can not inflict that pain on anybody else.

this has gotta be the worst xmas ever, today is just dragging by, so painful to be alone this time of year. felt suicidal earlier, but couldnt do that to my kids not today of all days

Shazrobo sorry your having a bad time. You've shown courage for staying up for the sake of the kids, its so easy to go back to bed. Your bf may be with his family but he will go back to you.
I see every Christmas as my last as they will send me away - but that's my paranoia kicking in.

not sure that bf will be back, sent him a couple texts and numerous calls, but he has ignored them all, perhaps i'm better off alone, least that way no one can hurt me, more than i can hurt myself
