  • Enough already, everyone!
Please take your differences elsewhere to fight out and remember if you can't say nothing nice, don't say nothing at all.

  • i am very sorry to anyone i have upset and im sorry that i lost my temper

i do however stand by my belief that AB winds people up on purpose and im still shocked that another poster said that suffering from a condition like depression makes you 'ignorant' and implied that i dont have a job

i know that its no excuse but i have had an extremely rough week this week, it would be bad for anyone, let alone someone with a mental health problem

my only grandad's advancing dementia was painfully obvious at a family do, my parents dog who i used to look after and loved to bits had a stroke and died, my hubbys upset as his parents dog turned and had to be put down, i had a bad self-harming episode, i lost my wedding ring and found out that it isnt even covered by a special insurance policy i took out on it plus i twinged my back this morning and are now laid up in agony....so im sorry ive been a bit moody when pushed....
  • You have had a horrendous week and it is bound to make your fuse shorter. I'm not going to do a "me too" but I've had the week from hell too and that's precisely why I won't/don't want to engage with trouble.

Can we all just put a period and move on please?

Dearie me, what a kerfuffle - I've only been away since Friday morning and I've spent tonight playing catch up!

It was a lovely weekend, sunny, cold and frosty and I managed to successfully leave the old black mutt behind ;). Now I'm back though, it is difficult to hold on to the positivity and problems seem to hang like shadows at the edges of my consciousness.

I really value this thread and only hope it can return to being the centre for support that Lamewolf intended it to be
Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever :D

I've forgiven and forgotten (well not forgotten yet. Tis too soon, but I will ;)).

I've learnt that life is too short to have hang ups with people. Disagreements are all fair and well, afterall life would be boring if everyone agreed but this is a thread for support for people with depression and I feel that the bickering and arguments may drive new posters away.

    Just my two cents.

  • Guys,

Please can I remind you of the site's motto: 'Please be nice to all MoneySavers'.

If you're not able to post supportive messages, please don't post at all. It would be a shame to have to close the thread when so many get so much from it but if it continues to drain resources that's what we'll have to do.

    Hello, been a while

Hope your black dogs aren't giving you too much bother

    Finally...some progress.

Had an assessment today to see if i'd benefit from extra support from the CMHT (community mental health team) and they've agreed to take me on. One is going to monitor my meds (it would appear my psych asked me to cut out the meds so i can be put on new meds-sedative AD and mood stabilier) and the other wil try and help get me some routine and purpose in life.

Busy week, saw them today, have another check up with the exercise on prescription people, wednesday seeing my GP, thursday at family planning clinic and finally psych on friday.

I'm not used to being so busy. hopefully the extra support will take some of the heat off bf.

Hi xXMessedUpXx this sounds really encouraging - but please tell me they'll leave off making big changes till after Crimbo? Let's face it the festive season is enough to cope with for a lot of people without adding and subtracting meds in the mix .

Good luck with it all and take care.
