Hi all, I tried to use the 25% discount code. I placed my order then phoned freemans and was told the code used did not apply to certain things. I then said I would take the 20% new account discount. The 32" samsung (LE32R41BD, there is no difference between this and the LE32R51BD check https://www.samsung.co.uk) now has pride of place in my living room. It is excellent esp with the XBox 360. well worth the money. Sells for £999 in currys stores and have not been able to get near the £719 inc free delivery that I paid. There is some sort of recommedation scheme as well so let me know if you want to be recomeneded and I get a gift and you get 20% off first order.
    Everyone is a winner![/QUOTE
Suely if anyone wanted recommending it would only be right to use the original poster ''Rob 123'' as the person to benefit from a gift

Can someone recommend a good flush wall mount for my Samsung LE32R51BD. Don't need any tilt features etc. It is going on a flimsy plaster wall. What are the best screws to use?

I bought a joist finder to check where the joist was behind the stud wall. It appears to detect a single joist conveniently where i want to hang the screen. What is the best wall bracket to use considering there is only a single joist running floor to ceiling. Is this secure to handle the weight of screen?

Another question...the joist finder also has a metal finder option. Both settings detect the joist. Does this mean there are pipes running alongside the joist? (shower ensuite other side of wall). I'm a bit confused becasue didn't think the pipes would run floor to ceiling though.

    Any help much appreciated!

Post your message here, a guy called Vex will help you out. Answered all my questions and told me where to get a bracket at the wholesale price.

    thanks

After playing with the settings and being a big movie and sports fan, the picture is PERFECT!! :T :T :T
  • Just a quick line, I have had my 32" Samsung for over 2 weeks now and I am really pleased with it. Its a superb TV and the picture quality is great. However Im sure I have read on other forums that these TV's suffer from sparodic green flashes accross the screen. I may be being paranoid but I am sure my TV is doing this, Not often but I have noticed it at least 4 times (only once or twice a night). My wife has not noticed it because the flash lasts only milliseconds.

A number of qestions arrise from this,

1, Will it get worse or will it appear more often,
2, Is there any repair / fix for this fault,
3, Is this fault the start of something else / something more serious.

    Any help woud be appreciated

    Dave !

I have had my 32" LCD now for 10 days & I am very impressed with the picture quality, with both satallite & DVD, its a very sexy looking tv & of course the main attraction, the price! Everyone who has come around loves the TV & has changed the way they think about the picture quality of LCD TV's.

A big thanks to Rob123 the guy that posted this great offer. Nice one.

In the interest of some balance!!! I think it depends on the quality of your signal. Dvd through composite is excellent but for general TV viewing I'm very conscious of a deterioration in quality... whenever the screen is busy the characters look pixellated around the edges, I found the football highlights very poor. I like the look of the TV and for dvd and gaming its great but if your primary use is going to be analogue or digital viewing I'ld think long and hard about it... of course if they'ld upgrade the ruddy signal I'ld be happy as with a good source its clearly competent!

    Hi all,
My first posting...and it holds sad news. :(
I ordered this 32" LCD last week for my new (first) home, only to find today I have been charged the full £899.99.

I called Freemans customer services, and was just fobbed off with a load of rubbish!
Including; The code I used was for 25% off summer clothes only, I couldn't have an account where an agent already resides (my mother) even though I'd paid in full with the 'pay-and-go' option.
And then I got, the discounts were only for 'new credit checked' customers, meaning as I'd paid by credit card it didn't apply - and a host of others.
I asked about the 20% discount, and again I wasn't applicable!

I'd of much prefered an honest 'Your too late mate, the rides over...' ;)

The customer services person I spoke to wasn't too please when I said I'd have to return it, after I'd got it home, tested it and ensured it was the model I was heading to Currys to buy! Oh well, never mind - I'll contine to look elsewhere.

Anyone else had luck buying it lately, or know of another (working) code?

    Thanks!!
