When I go through the Quidco link it says I get 5% cash back when I open an account with Freemans. Do I have to do this or can I pay and go. I think if I don't open an account I won't get the Quidco cash back. Can anyone confirm ?

    Thanks

When I ordered through Quidco, I paid by credit card and my Quidco account shows the discount is pending. Haven't got the telly yet, so it's not confirmed.
  • I wanted to thank the OP.

My current tv is on it's way out so I logged onto Freemans through Quidco on tuesday and placed my order for the 32 inch version of the samsung tv.

It should arrive today or tomorrow :T

I tried to use the code on the website for 20% off my first order but there was a problem so I called an 0800 number and spoke to a really helpful chap who gave me a different code.

    Total price paid: £719.99 :j

  • friendly.gal, this new code that they given you, did they tell it to you? if so, would you be able to post it?

I'm looking to buy a 26" in two weeks when my paycheque comes :) - do you guys reckon this offer will still be available?
  • Guys

ordered the 32" idtv on monday PM with the default DREP 20% voucher for £720 and via quidco too.
    TV arrived today.
    Simple.

    Moral of the story :
    - check in stock first
    - go via quidco
    - use a valid code (ie not the 25% off one)
    - choose "pay and go" and not on credit or create account first

Has anyone here ran this through pricerunner? This tv is only £700 why all the hype ? In the rush to "grab it while you can" your all buying an over-priced tv for the normal web price. Why do you think freemans have let you all get away with it for months ????? The 26" is an ok deal after discount.

    Hi KAD666,

I agree that Freemans is higher price than some other retailers. With the 20% off first purchse and 5% via Quidco it brings the price to £683. The cheapest I can find on Pricerunner for the same model (LE32R41BD, not 51 see page 3 of this string) is £778 from Microdirect. So Freemans is still nearly £100 less.

Whatever the price it's still too much for me. I need to wait for better quaility at lower prices, maybe a couple of years away.

I'd order it now on pay by credit/debit card, as they don't debit the card till in stock, i did this and it is likely to come on the 11th April, so I haven't paid yet/ :j
  • The code I was given for 20% off was DLYP
