When I go through the Quidco link it says I get 5% cash back when I open an account with Freemans. Do I have to do this or can I pay and go. I think if I don't open an account I won't get the Quidco cash back. Can anyone confirm ?

    Thanks
    Kellm9

I paid in full (with the 20% first timer discount) with a credit card via Quidco and the 5% has been paid into my Quidco acount. I didn't need to open a Freemans account.

Why are Freemans giving the 20% discount when their T's&C's are as follows:-
What are your terms and conditions for the use of Offer Codes and Discounts?
Freemans will only honour an offer code/discount if it is used in line with these terms and conditions of issue.

    Exclusions
Certain goods and/or services are excluded from all offer codes/discounts. These include, but are not limited to all products in the Spring Summer 06 catalogue, between pages 868 - 1019, and 1106-1108 inclusive.

Specifically, goods excluded from offer code/discounts are: washing machines, tumble dryers and combination washer dryers, dishwashers, fridges, freezers and combination fridge/freezers, microwaves, ovens, vacuum cleaners, televisions, freeview set-top boxes, VCR players, DVD players, DVD recorders, Hard Disk recorders, Home Cinema systems, portable DVD players, camcorders, digital cameras and accessories, digital printers, MP3 and portable audio players and accessories, hi-fis and hi-fi components, satellite navigation systems, PC systems, Apple Mac systems and accessories, laptops, video games software and hardware, mobile phones and accessories and digital phones.
Any comments would be appreciated before I order my telly.!

I went to currys to look at the samsung tv and it looks good, would anyone please who bought the TV from Freemans be able to post a picture of the tv on this thred so that i can have a look at how it looks in a home environement and not in a shop.

One other thing is can i use my PC with the Samsung tv, i dont mean to watch movies, i mean to use windows, word, internet, etc. If this is the case, i can then ditch my LCD PC monitor and use the samsung tv as a pc monitor with wireless keyboard and mose. I want to surf the interenet on the tv from my sofa.

    Hi fairyloveheart,

I'm not 100% sure but I think the 20% discount on 1st order is gone. If you clear your cookies and then go back to Freemans website it doesn't show the 20% off. I hope i'm wrong and that you can point me to the page that gives the discount code.

    Cheers

In the Freemans shopping bag page the T&C's "click here" has exactly the same conditions as posted by Horrible above. ie it specifically excludes televisions. This must be a recent change.

I have nothing to do with the company apart from using them in the past.

John Lewis sell the 26 inch model for £750 - incentive is that this includes a 5 year warranty.

Thank you very much vernall for the pics. Your tv looks great. 1 question of mine answered another one left:
