With 1,049,088 pixels on this set, surely you'd have to be the bionic man to spot them at normal viewing distance (esp with the onscreen picture constantly changing). As you say even the engineer had trouble finding them....so i shouldn't imagine a dead pixel or two are going to trouble the average viewer?

Just what I was thinking. With LCD technology there is a tolerance level for DP's as its rare to find a screen without any!

I would have though the tolerance level for a 32" screen would have been more than this?????

But if they were hard to find then they must have not been noticeable and hence not affect your viewing pleasure and as such why have gone though so much to get a replacement. You will be lucky if the replacement has less DP's

But I had 13 not 2 (edit 13 I had). They accepted it was at fault you could only see them in a dark room (due to anti reflective screen) and no feed so blank screen. 12 is well above the iso standard that I was told it had to adhere too.

I have a 26" screen btw. Tolernace on that using the iso standard ISO 13406-2 is 8.

If so, How much of a difference to the game does it make?

    It makes a HUGE difference!!!

Just use the component cables that come with the premium pack. Ghost Recon is amazing on it in HD.
