The refurbs were more than likely a booking in error.
    The item came back.
Someone on 1.12 an hour marked it as ok for resale.
It got shipped to next in line.
Seen it happen many a time...

If they are selling returned/refurb's as new items, wouldn't Freemans (or any retailer) be breaking the law? I understand that retailers can sell returned/refurb items but they must be clearly marked as such (b grade etc.) before sale.

I received a reply from them insisting that they only sell new items but that is may have been reboxed at the factory if the box was damaged. My DVD had definitely been out of the box before but I have to take their word for it. Life is way too short to start messing about with return couriers etc.

However, if the TV looks used when it arrives, I shall personally return it at high velocity to Freemans of London - through their office window!

  • Freeman’s Samsung 26” TV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spent nearly twenty minutes on the phone going through the automated sales twaddle with the sales person at Freemans and promised delivery subject to a credit check!

Phoned back three days later and was told that I had been refused credit! Did the same routine again with my other half ordering the same item! Three days later again told other half had been refused credit!

To say we both have very serious money jobs is and under statement and credit up the cazooooo!

Apparently they can also refuse you if you have too much of a credit rating i.e. no debt and always pay your cards on time! Freeman’s are after all a company that thrives on people using their credit system!

Not to be beaten I rang the CS and asked was it possible to buy the Samsung 26” TV by credit card? Oh yes came the reply, you ask for a cash sale, do I still get the 20% discount as a first customer? Certainly was the reply!

They promised delivery on the 27th Feb but after reading posts I’m not so sure I want it!
