Samsung 32" HD Ready LCD TV (HD Ready) for £675 delivered?!!!

I just thought about it, and if I don't get the TV, it's not that important to me as I probably wouldn't have bought one anyway if I hadn't seen it here, and when the time comes that I'd actually want one, the prices will probably be lower than current Freemans prices anyway.
Consider we paid something like £3500 for a 37 inch aquos lcd a couple of years ago which can now be had for under half that, and you can see the rate at which the profit margins on these things are falling.
That said, I will be very annoyed if they say cancelled due to no stock then have stock in the next day at a price without a discount and will drop a note to trading standards and the ASA, as my order (eventually) was placed using a legitimate code.0 -
Delivery
Got my 32" lcd tv yesterday morning.
Very nice, worth waiting nearly 3 weeks - paid £720 being a new customer - also should get some RPoints too.
One problem, received the wrong controls - but Freemans have ordered the correct item for me - sent them email yesterday and got immediate response.
:grinheart :grinheart :grinheart :grinheart :grinheart
I wish you all lots of luck0 -

someone on the hotukdeals forum had a 26" sammy delivered on 14/02, so they appear to be trickling through too, despite the website going back up to 14 days...0

The only explanation I got when calling morgan stanley was it should 'drop off my statement soon' unless order has been cancelled.
Called up Freemans and they say I have to re-order with estimated delivery of 2/3/06. I'm giving up on this offer now but would be interested to hear if its Freemans who is to blame of Morgan Stanley, anyone know why something like this would happen?
I've had the exact same problem TWICE, also ordering using a Morgan Stanley credit card with plenty of credit left on it.
I tried reordering again (a third time) using a different card, but wasn't allowed the 20% off any more as it had already been redeemed. :wall: I didn't proceed and am now wondering whether it's worth the aggravation. I might just go with Pixmania instead...0 -

Got this letter through this morning (I think somebody else quoted this earlier on in the thread but will quote again):Dear Mr Z
Thank you for your recent order to the value of £480.00.
Due to their popularity our stocks of the goods you requested are temporarily exhausted. However further supplies are expected within the number of days shown below (quotes 9 days, but I think it will be a little more than that).
I am holding your order and will ensure that it receives priority attention as items become available.
Your credit card account will only be charged when the goods are dispatched.
Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused.
