Samsung 32" HD Ready LCD TV (HD Ready) for £675 delivered?!!!

Why, whats up with it? Which one did you order and when did you order it?0
-
I ordered mine on 28th January. 32" version.
Mine arrived with very dirty accessories, a small scratch on the screen, a dead pixel, burn marks, and a mark in the screen. Overall very disappointed as, if you ignore all the problems the screen itself is stunning, animated DVD's are amazing and I haven't even tried a HD source yet.
Hopefully I can sort out a replacement, but if I have to go through Freeman’s I recon on a very long wait, hence my annoyance.0 -
Can i confirm that you have to become a member of freemans to get the 20% off and you can not just pay online with your credit card???0
-
no, you can pay online and quote the code (I'd call up personally)0

OuchWas it a refurb or just bad courier handling?
Couldn't you try contacting Samsung directly to arrange a swap?
Hopefully this is just a one off.0 -
Probably a refurb or previously returned as there were finger marks on the screen (easily removed).
I may try contacting Samsung directly, but first I will talk to Freeman's.
Also there has been no sign of an engineer arranging installation, who I was hoping could help with the situation. Freeman's just said that there should be a note in the box about the installation arrangements, but I'm afraid that is also missing from mine.
Has anyone else received his or hers with confirmation of the free installation?0 -
The DVD recorder I received (which I ordered at the same time as the non-received TV) also appears to be a refurb. It was not in a Toshiba box and the remote batteries were already unwrapped. I've emailed Freemans for confirmation.
Beware - these items may not be new in which case I'm going to be mightily annoyed.BE NICE - IT'S FREE!0 -
They've reserved the money in my bank account!!! I could get it very soon. 26' IDTV using new customer code ordered on 28-01.0

If they are selling returned/refurb's as new items, wouldn't Freemans (or any retailer) be breaking the law? I understand that retailers can sell returned/refurb items but they must be clearly marked as such (b grade etc.) before sale.0
