I spoke on the phone re : 26", and was told that they are expecting delivery of a batch on the 23rd and a batch on the 5th March (dates may not be exact, but are thereabouts), and depending on where you are in the queue, you'll get one of these allocations.

Fair play - I ordered on the 30th and again on the 8th, but no apology letter. I did get a cancellation letter, but this came through dated the 7th, arriving on the 16th.

Thanks for the update andrew - any time I rang they couldn't give me any info like that. At least we have a bit more of an idea now?

Right just checked my letter and it's dated on the 9th.

Order confirmation (32") came dated 4th Feb quoting 12 days delivery from then.
Rang on 16th to be told it's more likely to be 28th Feb. for delivery....and not to take any notice of delivery estimates on the letter because "it's a silly thing the computer does every time and it's always wrong". :cool:

I wasn't relly taking any notice of the letter, I was well aware of the popularity of them . If I get mine early March then I will still be happy.

Probably a combination of new orders from people with failed 25% discount codes, people still ordering with the 20% first time buyer code and the fact that they have quite a few orders already waiting to be completed.

If anybody is in a real hurry for the Samsung 26"/32" LCD's from Freemans then you've probably shopped at the wrong place and the wrong time. Good things come to those who wait.
