Samsung 32" HD Ready LCD TV (HD Ready) for £675 delivered?!!!

Ordered a 32" and a 26" on 31st Jan - received the 32" today. Inspected the box on delivery and it didn't look to have been previously opened (previous comment regarding returns re-sold), and will look a the TV later.

So for the price the short delay has been more than worth it.

I've not got round to hooking up my xbox 360 to it, but the integrated freeview is quite good (better than my previous lcd with a freeview box.

As a PC monitor its ace.

I'm downloading some of the wmv hd stuff.

I'm thinking of using it in the bedroom if it turns up...... will the freeview work without any wires.... ie - do I have to plug the external aerial into the TV??

Anyone else got the 26" yet?

You need an aerial. but thats it.

whats happening I ordered my 32" on the 27th and have not heard or received anything. I read loads have ordered later than me and have recieved theirs, anyone any idea what is going on ?

Im absolutely gutted, I ordered a 32 inch on the 25th January, emailed them last week to ask where the order was, was told it would be with me very soon. Even had a letter (a couple of weeks ago) to say there would be a slight delay. Now this morning I received a letter dated the 12th Feb (over a week ago!) saying our card had been declined and that we would have to phone up and reorder! :eek: Now there is absolutely nothing wrong and has never been a problem with our credit card limit. I promptly phoned them up today to complain, especially as they told me the item would be with me soon. After my explanation the lady on the phone said it was possible the card details had been entered incorrectly either at my end or theres, Im sure Im not to blame as I checked the details 3 times before submitting them. Im thinking surely their systems process credit card details automatically, so I havent a clue why my order didnt go through. Now Im not sure how freemans handle their internet sales but Im certain the problem wasnt caused my end, I do know their systems are a bit wierd, and take a day or so to see the orders, so who knows. They would rely on manual credit card processing would they?

The lady on the phone was very unsympathetic and basically told me 'tough' if I wanted to order again I could but would be put at the back of the que and should expect delivery towards the end of march, 2 months after my original order date and suprise suprise when I went to reorder the discount code is now invalid. :mad:

To call me miffed would be an understatment, I wanted to suprise my hubby with a new tredy lcd tv he's wanted for months. I just wanted to know if anyone here has had any orders cancelled for so called 'declined cards'?

all you guys that have received your 32" TVs

as far as you knew when you guys called to check how long they were gonna be,were you told end of the month,which has now turned into 13/14 march like the rest of us or were you given an earlier date?

just wondering if a few are coming into stock and they are trickling out slowly-so hoping that we may/some may get them before they say
